Yes, hold off on further testing until after TOM is passed. Since TOM messes with the scale, and the scale is what you are basing a big part of your test on, it doesn't make sense to test during TOM.
We are talking about not combining fat and starch at a meal. If you have at least 2-1/2 hours (3-4 is better) between meals, you can switch fuel source from fat to starch at each meal if you want. This is a Trim Healthy Mama principle that seems to work well for most people.

Sounds like the best plan. And really, I've never found eating P3 to be a hardship at all, so I hope you enjoy it as well.
