P3 Transistors and Stabilizers: Late Jan/Early Feb 2013

Hi Everyone! I am starting a new Thread for early 2013 P3 transistors. I met a great group of very motivating and helpful folks in a Jan Loaders group who have inspired me during my P2! I would like to start this thread for anyone wanting to have a group (large or small) to tackle P3, stabilizing, and moving into P4 for life!

Today was my LDW VLCD26 (Jan 28, 2013) and I have lost 21.4lbs this round. I am R2hHCG, and now have 48hrs to flush and then take on P3!

Here are a couple links I have found helpful to start P3 with good foods and things to avoid:
    http://hcgcoach.com/Phases.shtml#foods
    http://hcgdietinfo.com/hcgdietforums/entry.php?b=170

I am already planning my first non VLCD meal! For lunch I am roasting a chicken and for dinner I am eating seafood with butter! Yum! What is everyone else having?

Let's do this together and stabilize together!

    Stephanie

Roll call ... Marvless is in da house!

Thanks for getting us moved over Stephanie! I'll be P3 eating on 2/9, so save me a spot!

BTW, info on BP fasting is in the link right below my ticker. You can drink BP coffee anytime you want, but the BP fasting is used in P4 to help drop a little more weight.

Count me! P3 breakfast on Thursday. Cheesy eggs and bacon baby! The other thing I always miss is pizza, so I'll be making the cheese/egg crust pizza that day and maybe steak and pepper stir fry with cheese. nom nom! We will be heading out for the weekend friday afternoon, so I'm trying to think of things to take with me for snacks at the hotel. I got some pork skins, I'll take some cheese. I might make some almond flour type buns, not sure if I'll have time though. I'm just excited. I'm trying to decide if I want to change my goal too. I made it to 125 last time, but I never stayed there. Did pretty well for quite awhile around 127-131. I might just go to 130 and try that. It's weird, although my weight is higher right now then where I finished, my measurements are way closer to my final measurements than they were at this weight previously. Not that I'm complaining...

Hey Maria! There is always room for a superstar like yourself considered your VIP space reserved

Diane, great timing for travel! Much easier on P3! Oooh...cheesey eggs..yum sounds great! What is this egg/cheese pizza crust you mentioned!? Mmmm.. sounds heavenly!! Do share!

Travelgirl, yea! Isn't a great feeling that you are so close! Good Luck with a solid finish!

Last round I made Almond bread and was great, tried Coconut bread and it did not turn out as well. I'll have to poke around to look for the recipes again. What is your fav recipes for simple P3 approved "breads?"

I'll look for the exact recipe tonight, but it's just cheese and eggs and garlic powder. Bake it up, and then add precooked toppings/cheese and broil. It's yummy. Like it better than the almond flour crust I used before too.

I also have a recipe off of comfy belly for onion cheddar biscuits with almond flour. They are awesome!

Hello everyone!! I haven't done very well on P3 so far. I had starches all weekend and gained 2 pounds. Started today being very strict with P3. I need to get those two pounds off and stabalize. Hopefully I can do it without doing the steak day. We'll see what my morning weight says and go from there. Ugh!

Hey ladies! Nice to meet up here again. Thanks for making the thread herzing! AFM, I am on Day 4 of P3 and I am just above LDW, still well within the safe zone. Having some trouble not being hungry enough despite being soooo excited for bacon and cheese and all of the other P3 approved goodies.

Just a thought... when you started the thread, did you mean "transitioners" instead of "transistors"? I think maybe your autocorrect turned us into semiconductor devices lol

Hey Everyone! Thanks for the invite Stephanie

I'm going to continue P2 for another 2-3 weeks and see if I can drop a few more lbs before joining you all here in P3 for coco crakc and butter and all the bacon loveliness! Ugh, I can't wait!

I'm not hungry, and still losing, so I'm pushing on in P2 for now. Good luck P3'ers! I will see you soon!

Here's the cheese/egg pizza crust. It's from Lindas Low carb

    CHEESE CRUST PIZZA
    Crust:
    3 ounces mozzarella cheese, shredded
    1 ounce cheddar cheese, shredded
    1 egg
    Pinch garlic powder
    Pinch basil

Line a 9-inch round cake pan with parchment paper or nonstick foil. In a small bowl, mix the crust ingredients well. Dump the crust mixture into the pan and spread in an even layer with your fingers. Be sure to completely cover the bottom of the pan. Bake at 450 for 5 minutes then turn the oven down to 400 and bake another 4-5 minutes until the crust is nicely browned on the top and bottom. Don't let it get too dark around the edges.

Keep the oven rack in the center position and turn on the broiler. Spread the sauce over the crust and top with precooked toppings (unless its just cheese and pepperoni). Broil the pizza until the toppings are hot and the cheese is melted and bubbly, about 4-5 minutes.

    This is from Comfy belly

    Onion cheddar biscuits
1 1/2 cups of almond flour
    1/2 teaspoon sea salt
    1/2 teaspoon of baking soda
about 1/4 cup of onion, finely diced (I chop it in a food processor)
1/2 cup of cheddar cheese, grated
    2 tablespoons of softened butter
    1 tablespoon of honey
    1 egg
    olive oil
    Preparation
Preheat the oven to 330 degrees F. Place a baking dish, with water in it, at the bottom of the oven to create a crunchy crust on the biscuits.
Combine all the dry ingredients and blend well.
Whisk all the wet ingredients (except for the onions) until it is frothy (has bubbles), and then combine it with the onions and dry mixture.
Blend the dough mixture well, and then spoon out into 4 balls on a stick-free or lined baking sheet. I use a stick-free backing mat or parchment paper.
Slice across the top of each ball of dough to make an X, and then spray or brush some olive oil on the cross.
Bake for 15 minutes, and then lower the heat to 300 degrees F and bake for another 15 minutes.
These can be stored in the refrigerator and warmed up later. Reheat at 300 degrees F for about 6 minutes.

Both of these sites have AWESOME recipes. I've used several off of Linda's and have loved each one. Check them out, they are great for P3 and beyond.

Hello "Transistors"!!! Hope you don't mind if I join you all. I'm glad to have this thread in P3! Although we are through the tough part (at least for me), I still need the support. And of course, this is a good place to share ideas.

I was in the "Christmas Eve Loaders" thread in P2. I only did a short round (23 or so days..I forget). I lost 17.5 lbs. So I've been in P3 since 1/19. So far, I've been stabilizing well. There was one day where I was just short of my 2 lbs above LDW, but then I ate very clean the next day, and dropped back right on LDW. Then this morning, I'm just up 1 lb. As long as I don't go above or below my LDW, I'm not worried about it since I know our body has its fluctuations anyway. And I'm due for TOM any time now.

One of my "go to" meals is scrambled eggs with eggs and garlic. I first saute' up some chopped fresh tomato with some minced garlic in olive oil. Then I add some beaten whole eggs. Right before they are set, I add in some cheddar cheese slices.. and voila! Very delicious! And speaking of cheese, one of the tips I picked up in my very first round in 2010, avoid pre-shredded cheese in the bags. If you look at the ingredients, they actually add starch to prevent the cheese from clumping! So instead, I buy the block cheese and either slice or shred it my selft in my salad shooter.

I then also like my fruit smoothies. I use full-fat plain yogurt, add strawberries and/or blueberries. Then add unsweetened almond milk, stevia, and chia seeds (not sure on those, but they haven't hurt me yet); and blend in my Magic Bullet. Mmmm....
