OMG, that would totally motivate him. . .what a great idea. I am going to discuss this with him. . .I actually think I will tell him that I will remove $3 for every pound he gains as well.

    Okay, so. . .

Still trying to decide if I am going to continue for another week on P3 and start another round or transition to P4 and do a complete protocol. A part of me strongly wants to move on to another round. I am ready to drop more weight and I am happy to bring my fiancee aboard with me. However, I have been very much totally protocol (with a few cheats) and stabilized so well (I only have a few more days on P3) that I feel as if I should just complete the round and do 3 weeks on P4. I am totally afraid of P4. The idea of adding in carbs slowly scares me to death. I could honestly live P3 the rest of my life because I don't really have to think, just read labels. My other motivating factor for cycling is that my son is planning on visiting starting March 30 for a week. I would rather be P3 when he gets here than trying to navigate while on P2. I would probably still have a couple days on P2 when he first gets here but will be able to eat more while he is here.

Anyway, Yesterday I made spicy fried tilapia by seasoning coconut flour with dry mustard, salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder and red chili flakes. . .egg wash, coat with flour mix and fry in coconut oil. . .yum.

Glad you're having fun despite the rain! Enjoy yourself and you can correct when you get home! (But don't go too nuts)

    p3 day2

I have been taking it really slow, and have only added in so far, butter, coconut oil,and hwc.along with the skin on chicken, bacon and eggs. Last nite was a good size rib eye, with broccoli and butter, and strawberries for desert.Tomorrow nite i hope to add in some greek yogurt with berries .Trying to not add in to much fruit as its really high carb. berries are best.

    .5 below ldw

Up 1.2 AGAIN!!! I am now at 148. I am so frustrated! I just can't et back to 145. I am right where I was when I started this last round. It seems to be when I cook anything I gain. Yesterday it was just banana pancakes(banana and eggs only in them) and zuccini chips with taco stuff. It could have been the regular taco seasoning or eggs in stuff. No idea but I had a smoothie for dinner so nothing huge. I think I need to just laser a few things to see if that fixes it. Oh I did also have a few almond flour crackers again so maybe it was almond flour. But at least it is the weekdays when I stick to plain old chicken and hamburgers with fage and smoothies. Hopefully nothing fancy will help me get back down again. We have a chili cookoff to attend next Saturday so I REALLY need to get my weight down before then. I guess maybe I shoudl just get used to gains on weekends and losses during the week

Are we allowed bananas on P3? I would so go off my game with bananas. I think they are too high in starch and sugar for a P3 diet. . .but I am a newbie and just asking.

Darcy, I don't have any experience with cycling because I really think my body needs the time in between to get comfortable with itself. But I wonder if your fiance might hold off a couple of weeks and you could start the next round a couple of days early to make it all work better?

    Yay Dian!

Debee, I know that has to be so frustrating. But you're so early in P3, maybe just keep up the good fats and let your body get all the water/electrolyte issues worked out over the next few days. I know I had more fluctuations this time than I did last, but it DID level out just staying protocol and experimenting with potassium/magnesium til it balanced out.

Tracie, I'm sorry for the rain, but at least it's WARM!

Tanyamac, you sure seem to have a lot of correction days in a row when you post. Do you think it might help to eat bigger portions of P2 foods with enough good fats for like a week in a row just to get your body to recognize what you want "normal" to look like?

pbgirl, I know that Dr. S says the combo of fats and sugars is killer in P3, so I wonder if you're just inadvertently getting bit by that? Or maybe you drink less water on the weekends?

Technically my P4 started on Saturday. Not really going there yet. My 8 year old LOVES banana pancakes which are only made with 2 bananas and 3 eggs with some cinamon and nutmeg. So for a treat this weekend we shared a batch. I admit, I LOVE them as well. I do suspect they are a possible cause, I just made the choice to have them anyways.
MaryK- I do know that I also drink less water on weekends. So trying not to panic(again) and waiting to see what the next few days bring.

Bananas are really high in sugar... they are a big NO in P3. Here's a good graphic showing fullness (satiety) and its relationship to sugar crash. Notice the bad foods (cookies, fries, cereal) that bananas are similar to. http://dingo.care2.com/pictures/gree...ngs-Final2.png
