It's hard to say what will happen, since your round has been so odd, but generally you won't keep all of your losses without being in P2 for at least 23 dose days.
It can be dangerous to your thyroid to take iodine without selenium and several other supporting nutrients depending on what your underlying conditions are. Generally, you should start selenium supplementation at least 2 weeks before starting iodine therapy. I hope your source gave you good information on how to use iodine supplementation safely.

Thanks Leez. I have just been researching myself. I started Lugol’s yesterday (5 drops, 12.5mg) and have been taking Selenium (but only 70mg for a month or so now). I just ordered my 200mg Selenium to arrive tomorrow. I also take Vit C, Magnesium, etc. Hoping it helps! I hadn’t heard that about starting selenium earlier.
I’m not saying that the iodine is responsible...but I did finally drop a couple pounds last night. (Shrug) I’m sure it has more to do with the fact that I fasted for 20 hours and broke up my food differently yesterday (no vegetables, just protein and fruit.
If I haven’t said so already, I’m so grateful for you and Grammy and all your sage advice. This has been such a difficult round for me and I don’t know that I could survive it without the community support.
