Yes fats are allowed in P3.. but they should be good fats Coconut Oil, olive oil etc. Also, the sugar and dairy in ice cream is the problem. Peanut butter is not a good idea early on, as peanuts are a legume and can cause problems. Also unless it is all natural peanut butter made with just peanuts, salt, and oil it probably has sugar in it. You have to read ALL the labels carefully for any hidden sugars or starches. HWC is ok in coffee because it does not have pure milk in it which is high in sugar. I did not tolerated HWC well and switched to sugar free coffee mate french vanilla. This has not caused me any trouble but may cause you some problems so use with caution. I have not tried any sugar free candies and won't until I get closer to the end of P3. I know some people use them without trouble though. Good luck in P3, it is really a better life!
