How to properly use Jay Robb shakes?

I've seen a lot of discussion regarding the Jay Robb shakes on both P2 and P3.
Are these shakes meant to be used as a meal replacement?

Also, I've heard of people adding a little of the powder to Fage?

How do you think using these shakes affects your losses (in P2 and P3)? Better or worse? Thanks!

They're not technically meal replacements, they're protein supplements. I know some people do use them in P2 to replace a protein serving though.

I've never used them while on hCG, so I can't speak to any effect on losses (everyone is different anyway). In the past, I've always used them after a workout for extra protein.

I've used them as a protien replacement in phase 2 when in a time crunch, but they didn't affect my weight in a noticable way. HTH!

I drank the vanilla on p2 with no problems. I drank it in addition to the 500 calories. It's not protocol. Now in p3 I make it with no sugar peanut butter and whip the heck out of it so it's really foamy. I then freeze it and it tastes like ice cream.

I am at the end of p2 and was having a very difficult time finishing my food so I tried the jay robb shake two days in a row with losses both mornings.

Thanks for the responses. I'm a fan of drinking my meals (okay, okay ... I know, vodka doesn't count ...) so I'm excited to try the shakes on both P2 and P3.

I just wanted to bump this thread - I've decided to do P2 again (blech!) and I wondered if any P2'ers (or veterans) out there have ever had the Jay Robb shakes with milk and had losses or gains? I know milk isn't P2 approved, but I gave it a try today anyway.
    Thanks!

I used them in p3 for inbetween meals. But now I can easily add milk, fage, and frozen fruit and make it a quick breakfast if I don't have much time.
