    Thanks...I was just so worried it would keep going up. Having my first 3 days in P3 gaining a lb a day was scary. I also just turned 50 so who knows what my hormones are doing, I know I don't LOL

    It's not uncommon though. It would be a good idea to get your hormones checked. If you're still have periods, get them tested about day 21 of your cycle. You probably have low thyroid too. Doctors don't check the right labs most of the time. You need Free t3, free t4 done. They should be in the upper quartile of the range.

    Here I go up a pound this morning....dang...I went up on calories to 1273 I wasn't going to weigh myself but now I am scared not to. I don't want to wait a few days and then be 250 again....still in ketosis according to the stick. I stay in the 2 to the 4th one and again a whole gallon of water. I am thinnking to just go on another round when i get my water. Do I have to do loading or can i just go back on?

    Thanks for the advice for getting my hormones checked but I have no insurance and I make less than $700 a month right now working part time. It is all I can do to scrape up the money for the HCG. That is another big motivator in losing weight so that I can find a better job. I was out of work a year before i found this one. Right now is crazy for my cycle tho. i will skip 2 months and then go for 14 days, and HEAVY. Very unusual for me but I did just turn 50.

    Dang I am afraid that if I wait 6 weeks, it will all come back. It is so hard today not to just give up and go get Steak n Shake. I know I am not supposed to weight myself but i did and I am up .6 again today. if I wait 6 weeks I will have gained back all I lost. This is crazy. Something is wrong here. I am gaining faster than I lost ...I just had egg salad made with 3 eggs and homemade mayo, onion, tomato on a lettuce leaf, hamburger (Laura Lean burgers) with tomato and onion and stone ground German mustard wrapped in lettuce (2 of these), chicken breast 6 oz cooked with spinach, garlic powder and garlic sea salt on chicken. Drank 1 gallon of water and then also went on a 2 mile walk.

    You could be sensitive to eggs and you're eating a lot of egg since it's in mayo too. You ARE supposed to weigh yourself every day. Not sure what you meant by that. But if you're up more than 2 pounds, you do a steak day.

    Thanks...I will have the other half of that egg salad ( I hate to waste anything and already had eggs today as well at breakfast) tonight then stop the eggs for a week and see. I was eating them for my night meal while on my P2 so I was thinking they were safe and I guess I should have planned better for P3 in the way of alternatives. i just seem to eat the same thing most days. I am that way tho, I don't really get bored. I will start eliminating. It has to be something.

    OH someone said to up my calories and then not look at the scale for a few days. I have been trying to not go over 900 to 1000 calories and I guess that is too low.

    Part of the protocol is to weigh every day. make sure you read Pounds and Inches so you know the protocol for yourself. Then you know whether you're getting wrong advice.

    I am on day 2 of p3 and very interested in how the thyroid, specifically low functioning thyroid will affect my ability to stabilize, especially long term. after having a serve depression event last december Grammy suggested I looked into my adrenal fatigue and after supplementing my adrenal I saw relief, but I had weight gain issues. Two weeks ago I started thyroid support and I can't help but wonder as I supplement my adrenals and thyroid will I have less weight gain issue. I also was very low carb for two years. Not completely no carb, as I ate banana about everyday and always enjoyed my fruit and most veggies with my protein. But I did avoid the traditional problem carbs because I would react to even the sweet potato at the holidays. ( no, not candied yams, but baked sweet potato) I wonder now that I have completed this round, if I should push more carb in p4 or should I stick with the type of carb I have been consumer ( before the round) and see how the benefit of the thyroid and adrenal support help me.
