    Silly Question!!!

Hi there! I have kinda a silly question. I am R2P3D5 and on my first offical day of P3 I went tanning. The next day I jumped 1.4lbs. The second ingredient in my tanning lotion in SUCROSE! and it has honey as one of the ingredients also. So my question is, what are your thoughts on the sucrose and honey in the lotion and making me gain like that. Is it possible?

    Thanks!

I don't know if it was 100% that but your skin does absorb what you put on it. I haven't had any weight gain from consuming sugar but that's me. You can probably either just get a different lotion or try it again and see what happens. Me? I would try it again strictly out of curiosity! but that's me

Maybe it's time to go shopping for a new lotion. What else did you eat that day? Did you consume your share of water for the day? Could be that you didn't have enough water and your body was storing it up after tanning.

Thanks for the reply and suggestions beecee. I ate strict meats and veg my first day of p3. Yes, I drink plenty of water..about 80 ounces a day. I just got back from tanning and was a chicken and did not use it. I tanned with no lotion(UGH), but applied regular lotion as soon as I got out. We will see.

This evening I will be 4 sure shopping for a new lotion. I have come to far to screw it up with tanning lotion! LOL!

It wasn't the tanning lotion. Nearly everyone gains the first few days of P3. You have more food in your intestines.

Also, I would venture to guess that tanning makes you retain water? I hear that when people get sunburn they retain water and notice the scale go up, so maybe the same thing happens with tanning.

Oh yes is she burned, that would cause water retention.

Exactly what I was trying to say, lol. Water retention and tanning goes hand in hand, for sure.
