    Hi Everybody!
I'm happy I found this thread! I started P3 yesterday. I added only dairy, but I had a lot of it. I basically had a lot of fat with the dairy but kept my protein up high. After my last drops day, I lost 1.4 pounds on those vlcd days. I heard you use the drop day weight, so thankfully I am still under the 2lb mark, but I gained quite a bit. 1.6lb in one day. This is my second round and I think that happened to me last time too on the first day.
I got to say, I did eat quite a bit of cheese. No eggs or nuts, but cheese and half and half.
Today I stuck to very little dairy, and very high protein. I'll have a steak for dinner and a salad. Hopefully, in the morning I'll be down.
It's funny what P2 does to us. I still weigh in my healthy fit range and even under the 2 lb mark, but seeing a gain on the scale this morning made me feel FAT all day. Part of it too I'm sure is not working out and feeling a little flabby. Last time I hit P3 I worked out that first week and gained a ton of water weight. I'm going to have one more week of no working out, before adding that in.
    Hope you're all doing well!!!

My LDW is 163.8 but I just don't want to do another round. I did end up dropping another 1.5 this morning, but that'll just give me an extra cushion now. My plan is to do a good P3, and then somewhat follow Weight Watchers (eat only so many calories/points for the day, and then quit!) I'd be content to just maintain my loss and it would be even greater if I could lose some more.

Good to see you posting with us! We'll all have to share some ideas on our P3 journey.
I want in too! I felt very similarly. I actually only lost 9.6 pounds in my three weeks on P2. It was stall after stall after stall, AND I was staying on protocol completely! It was tough, but honestly I didn't need to lose too much more. By the end, I was literally up for hours at night looking up recipes for P3 and trying to keep myself motivated through till the end. This is my second round and I never want to do it again. I want to keep this weight off and stabilize strong. I was considering doing the Leptin Reset, but I don't think I have problems with Leptin and it seemed like one more strict protocol to follow after one that was pretty tough on me emotionally. I'm just hoping that I can keep a high protein P3 going and lock this weight in for years to come.

So happy to have this forum. WE CAN DO THIS!!

    I had this question too.

    - 48 hours for Homeopathic Drops
    - 72 hours for RX Drops
    - 72 hours for Injections

    Thanks for joining us, CatLady!!!!

I added some almonds yesterday, and this morning, I stayed at the same weight I was yesterday. So with my 1.5 drop after my last day of drops...I'm still 1.5 lbs under my LDW. I just had a boiled egg for breakfast; for lunch, I'm going to have some chicken (a larger serving than my 3.5 oz!) and a piece of cheese; and tonight, I'm going to have a big ol' steak with fried onions, and some sort of veggie! Yum-O!!!!

I haven't been to the store yet, but I'll be heading there tomorrow. Tomorrow, my plan is to add in some yogurt.

Have a great day everyone...and "Happy Stabilizing"!

Oh, and I am eating a grapefruit today as well. I'm going to try and eat one of them everyday. I never liked them before, but when I add stevia to it, it's pretty delicious!

And I'm now drinking my first cup of coffee in almost 4 weeks....with half and half! DELICIOUS!!!!!

Good morning Ladies and Gents! I will be starting my P3 on Sunday. I only did a 23 day, though I had several days left of drops. I am getting hungry, so I think that is when I need to stop. I only lost 13.5# but am on a prescription, so the doctor said I would probably lose less than normal.

Anyhow, I am SUPER excited about eating again lol. However I am NOT excited about my grocery bill this morning at Kroger!!! 222.00 and some change. I was floored. I never spend over 150 a week and we are a family of four. I know most items will last a long time, but the special milks (cn milk, almond milk), flaxseed and almond meals, amino acids (wish I had found them for P2!), sugar free EVERYTHING, eggs, cheese, bacon, sausage, fresh produce to die for, and more. I thought I will have to go back to work if I keep this up or make my DH work more overtime ha! I hope to get to know all of you well during this trying stage!

    Hey guys,

So today is Day 3 of P3 for me and I am above my LDW by .4! I'm so bummed by this. I'm going on a date tonight at a sushi place. What do you think, should I try to eat lots of sashimi there and hope that works as a steak day or cancel now and do the steak at home.

Ughhh. I forgot how tough P3 can be. It's pretty devastating to see such a huge gain in two days. I didn't eat anything off p3 protocol, and I only added in some dairy but I guess I'm not ready for dairy.

    Any suggestions? Words of condolence?

haha sorry you guys. I'm above by 2.4lbs, not .4.
I just get on the scale and think it can't go above the 2 pound mark.

Hi P3ers. I too started P3 this week (Tuesday). I hope you don't mind my joining you for some P3 support.

This was my 2nd round of hCG. My first round was a 40 day round and I did pretty well (23lbs total). During P3/P4, I lost an additional 7lbs (not sure how). So, I just finished up this round with the last 10lbs. And I hope and pray I never have to do it again.

My strategy for P3 is very high protein/very low carb. (I have learned that carbs are NOT my friends) This week, I am focusing on keeping my carbs under 15/day. I will up that next week, but so far it is working for me as far as stabilization goes.

I missed HWC in my coffee I about cried when I had it Tuesday morning... THAT'S why I love P3!

I had hoped to start some strength training/toning this week, but it didn't happen. Perhaps this weekend, although I doubt it, but Monday AM, I am ON IT! Looking forward to toning this new tush I have as well as my abs.

Hope you are all doing well either finishing your P2 or in P3.

I totally hear you on the grocery bill! My DH does most of the grocery shopping (I love that man!!!) but I went last night to get all the P3 stuff because I knew he wouldn't know what to pick not being a label reader... Anyway, you're right, sugar free items, almond flour and flax meal = super expensive! I didn't use almond meal last round, but really want to try it out this time, but man-o-man, when compared to good old Gold Metal, it is like buying GOLD! I hope it's worth it!!!

I'm sorry to hear about the gain, especially since you had to cancel the dinner part of your date. Big bummer! I know that quite a few people have problems with dairy their 2nd round even if it wasn't a problem in their first round. Just thought I'd throw this out, although I'm sure you are on top of it, but water, water, water. It helps me a TON!!! I hope tomorrow's weigh in is forgiving and you're back to LDW.

    Hi All:
Love to see this thread started! My last dose is this Sunday - so my P3 starts Wednesday morning! I see alot of people talking about cheese - I know processed Kraft stuff is probably off limits - so deli sliced cheeses are ok? And milk...only almond? When I sw my doc today he told me to only increase my proteins and double my veggies still sticking to origianl list. So he said no bacon, yet I see everyone talking about it. And what about salad dressing? Is balsamic vinegrette ok now? I thought P3 would be great and now I'm scared to death! Thaks for any answers!
