Hi All! First day of P3 for me today.

I had a BAB, hamburger, 2 eggs, 2 bacon and HWC in my coffee. I am so full, but am taking the kids to the beach so I probably won't eat lunch.

One day- As you move along in P3 you can try adding in nuts. A lot of people are ok with Almonds, I love Mac nuts. Greek yogurt is good plan too. My last P3 I opted not to snack and followed the timing of the Leptin reset. There is a whole section on the forum that explains it. I wasn't too strict with the rules, but ate as soon as I could after I woke, waited 5 hrs between meals and no snacking and I didn't have to do 1 correction day in P3. I did in P4 when I went on vacation and drank and ate too many starches, but that's another story!

Well I started yesterday and so far so good It is soooo hard to get "ok" with eating these fats. But it sure is tasty....
I had grilled chicken and green beans w/a salad yesterday for my first meal and it was great. I had no movement on the scale today and I feel really good. I hope I can keep my sweet tooth at bay, that will be my only problem but so far I'm not craving anything..

Thanks SuperT for the idea for the leptin reset I will look into that some more for sure.

I was wondering if anyone as a good recipe for mug cake cause i tried to make it tonight with coconut flour and it was not good at all. Really craving sweets today and need something really good so i dont cheat. Hope that everything is going well for everyone else. I woke to the same weight as yesterday and was over the moon. Just hope that it keeps up that good.

I haven't done the mug cake. Have you added in cheese yet? My favorite P3 dessert is to whip up some cream cheese and sweetener. Then whip up some HWC and gently fold into the cream cheese. Tastes like cheesecake. Then I put mac nuts in it and I am in heaven!

I am down .2 from yesterday, so I am very happy! I had around 1600 cals yesterday, not including my coconut oil. I might try cheese or mac nuts today, not sure which.

Well, at the end of my first day of P3 -- eggs (with sauteed mushrooms and onions) and bacon for breakfast, grilled chicken salad with blue cheese dressing for lunch, and steak for supper -- my stomach is NOT happy with me!! I guess it was the introduction of all that fat, or something, but I feel horrible!! Even after all the time spent in the bathroom last night and this morning, the scale stayed the same for me ... which is fine because I'm 2.7 lbs. under LDW.

Hope today goes better, but honestly I can't even think about eating anything right now ... nothing sounds good.

Hope you feel better quickly. I had the same tummy trouble after introducing all that fat on day one. It went away the next day though and then the scale started moving

Feeling much better today, although I haven't eaten much besides almonds and cheese ... that's about the only thing that sounded good to me today. I'll eat some protein and veggies for supper tonight.

    Thanks for the encouragement!

Blessed2012 - just take it slow!!! My stomach revolted at the introduction of all that fat after 6 weeks without any!! I probably should have just continued to eat P2 food but doubled up on it!! Oh well, lesson learned!!

I started P3 today. I had two eggs scrambled with some sauteed mushrooms and onions for breakfast. I was really looking forward to having coffee with cream, but I was too full to have any until a few hours later. Boy did that coffee taste wonderful when I finally got to drink it. I missed it. Coffee with 1 T milk is just not the same as a big mug of creamy coffee. And my cast iron pans were happy that I used a little butter to cook the eggs...they were looking awfully dry after all these weeks of cooking without it.

I had a salad of homegrown lettuce and spinach, and store bought tomatoes with homemade blue cheese dressing for lunch. I also had some fish for protein.

I do feel full, but I'm not feeling sick. Brenlyn, I'm glad you're feeling better. Take it slowly.

Blessed2012, my advice is to eat plenty of protein, fats and non-starchy vegetables. Avoid any experimental baked goods at first. And don't be nervous. This works as Dr. Simeons said and it isn't as hard as we fear.
