Thread: Starting P3 on June 3rd, anyone else??

    It sounds like everyone who had gained a little has now lost it either through correction days or through time. That's fantastic!

    I just gained 4 lbs. Four pounds! I'm a flight attendant and just got back from a redeye trip. I never really went to bed yesterday, but I weighed yesterday morning and was up, but I figured I was bloated from the trip and I'd been eating/drinking liquid all night so it wasn't a "real" weight. I briefly thought of doing a steak day, but again, I'd already been eating. Last night, I weighed again and was higher...up 4 lbs. I got up last night to go to the bathroom about 4 times. Then this morning, I was the same weight I was last night. I even got on my scale again holding a 10 lb weight just to make sure my scale wasn't malfunctioning.

    I know I'm retaining water. My shoes are tight and my eyes are puffy. But 4 pounds??!! That's crazy. I've got to stop working all nighter flights. They're terrible for my health and my weight.

    So, I'll be making a steak later. I've never done a steak day before. I've never been above my LDW in P3. After R3 when my thyroid meds stopped working, I did two other correction days before realizing correction days aren't effective when I'm on the wrong medication. I've never done a steak day. I don't like steak. I'm going to horrify all you steak lovers by telling you I'll be cooking my steak in the crockpot. So, I know I can have a big steak for dinner with an apple or a tomato.

    Can I have coffee? With cream? I guess not. What do you all think? Is coffee with cream allowed?

    I did have HWC in my coffee throughout the day, it helps to curb hunger! Not sleeping can really mess with your weight, so I think you will be fine when you get some sleep and do the correction day. Good luck!

    Well, I didn't have any coffee. I had a gf communion wafer dipped in wine in the morning, then a glass of iced tea (just tea bag, water and ice) in the afternoon. I drank water all day. I ate a 16 oz steak with salt and pepper for dinner. I lost some, but I'm still 1 lb above my LDW. I don't like this round. I liked the last 3 much better. I maintained easily and never came close to needing a correction day. I'm starting to panic.

    I'm just going to eat my normal P3 way today. I'll do another correction day tomorrow if I need it.

    I'm in R4 ph3 and it is not going so well either. Last round I did the Leptin reset and was very stable. Now 6 weeks after ph2 I am up about 6 lbs over LDW. I have had not sugar or starch until the last few days. So frustrating. I wish I could just find the right combo of foods to maintain. I guess I'll do another round later in summer and go back to the reset. I just like to eat when I feel like it rather than on a schedule. I probably should try the Weight Loss Apocolypse plan of eating but it is confining also. Oh well can't have it both ways. Have to cut something out to maintain weight loss.

    You might drop a little more tomorrow! Fingers crossed. 1lb over is no big deal, but I hear ya on not liking this round stabilizing!

    Sorry you are having trouble too Lola! My first P3 was such a breeze stabilizing, think I might have been too cocky. I have been fairly stable the past few days, hope I can keep it up. I have been trying not to snack, but I hear ya, I get so full at breakfast I am just forcing the food in at the end.

    I have weight loss apocalypse on my nook but haven't read it yet! I plan to do another round e end of August when life will settle down again.

    I use butter on my steak. It should be ok.

    I was down a pound and within 2 lbs of my LDW on Tuesday, and down another .2 today so I didn't have to do any more correction days, yet. SuperT, I know what you mean about your last round being a breeze to stabilize. In my past 3 rounds, it was a total breeze. I didn't even have to think about it. Lola, maybe it is just something about that 4th time. Have you had any success with correction days? I thought I'd lose more on the steak day. Blessed, I've read you can use butter on the steak, so I guess olive oil would be fine, too.

    How's everyone doing with P3 this far?

    I usually lose 1.8 lbs on steak day and then maybe another lb the 2nd day. This last time I lost 2 lb and was up again on 2nd day. I had a cold and was using Afrin Nasal spray and it may have affected my loss. Last round I did the reset a d stabilized very well. This time I just did a regular ph3 of no starch and no sugar. I'm about 2.5 over LDW. This week I started adding in so e ph4 foods and so far no gain. I'll just be happy to be stable at this weight for now.

    Hey everyone, it's interesting to hear that it seems to be harder to stabalize the more rounds you do. I am now I think in p4. Went to Seattle this past weekend and ended up eating carbs and sugar earlier that I probably should have and then got a horrible migraine, should have gone to the dr but being in a different place didnt know what one to go to so just worked through it. Now being home I have been just watching what I have been eating and getting more active has seemed to help keep thing about 1 lb over ldw so I can live with that. Will be doing another round starting October 30 just in time to be in p4 for the holidays. I am so happy with this round I can't get over it, went from a size 16 to a 10!!! I am sooo happy

    Hi everyone!
    I'm back from my trip ... and to my surprise .... 2.2 lb. over LDW. That is exactly where I was 1 week ago today .... which I believe is stabilizing!! I was very happy to see that.
    Now, of course, I'd rather be stabilizing closer to LDW but, 2.2 lbs. = 1 kilogram so I'm ok with that!!

    Already excited to get to P4 next week then on to Round 2! Have a great day, everyone!!
