Success with apple day in P3 as correction day!

Yesterday I was 2.2 ponds above LIW.
Since it would have been impossible for me due to work schedule to organize a steak day I decided to try an apple day. I ate 6 big apples during the day and drank also enough water.
Later in the day i was researching alternatives to steak days but could not find apple day as an alternative in P3 but I decided to stick through it and see what comes out of it.

And YAY it was a success. I lost 3 pounds and was 0.8 pounds below my LIW.

That's awesome! It's rare but awesome that it worked for you.

The more i was into it and thinking about what I was doing the more i thought "Well if it goes wrong i still can correct it the next day". So I was a little doubtful myself. But like you said it is awesome that it worked and the only thing that matters.

That's the great thing with these one-day corrections. You can make a different choice the next day if it doens't work out.

I've actually had equally good results from doing an apple & cheese day. 2 apples + 2 oz cheese 3X day. I've also broken it up in to six smaller meals. Same results. I use honey crisp apples and mozzarella.

If you can tolerate cheese, it seems like it might be a better plan, because it keeps your calories up.

I heard that now too that I've could have added cheese to my apples - but good to know for the next time.
    Thank you though Liz.

As a general rule, I would not suggest adding cheese to any type of correction day because it's often the reason for the gain in the first place. So unless you know for SURE that it wasn't the cause of the problem, it's just throwing gasoline on the fire.
