She did test some hormones (testosterone, prolactin etc.). Can't test for estrogen or progesterone though cause am taking birth control in a 3 months cycle. Can't stop them cuz of a strong genetic predisposition for ovarian cancer... but d like to do a cortisol profile. Thanx for the link. Ll check it out when I get back home.

[B] Good morning[ ok i did a chicken thigh day yesterday my stomach is small so i didnt eat the 7 pieces but i was full all day . i guess all the fat helped me in the Bathroom department very good My LDW was 199.4 i gain some oz the day after in my VLCD without drops... then i lost back to 199.4 then i ate eggs and gain to 201.8 so i did a CTD and this morning my weigh was 198.2 thats a loss that almost 4 pounds from 201.8 to 198.2 amazing ... feel full all day drink a lot water , and 32 oz of coffee i was paranoid because the cafeine... now to do the PCDS ... thank you Gonnaloseit for your support ... /B]

Thanks yes i am allergic to eggs i tried in p2 to change and always gain... now the PCDS is a little difficult lol i am very bad at math so i know no veggies, 60% of fat and 40% of protein my calories intake should be 1,915 my protein grams should be 238 g which is 120% of my weigh now i am confused in my grams of fat Help pleaseeee

Congrats, hilda! WOW, an almost 4 lb loss on the Chicken Thigh Day...that's amazing!!

Avoid eggs until you are in the 3rd week of P4. That means...eggs in all forms, hidden in anything you'll eat. I'm finding that P3 is a sensitive time, and things that may/may not be allergies (eggs for example) act on our bodies to produce an inflammatory response. Soooo....there's a very good chance you ARE allergic to eggs. There's also a very good chance you're not allergic to eggs, but just re-introduced them too soon -- P3 is NOT the time to re-introduce them for most people. And apparently your body could be just like most people's -- no eating in P3 of eggs for you, my dear. 'k?

One other thing: stop thinking of breakfast as just limited to breakfast foods. You won't be eating a "normal" breakfast in PCDS. I often ate salmon, chuck roast (the meat only, of course), chicken legs, whatever fatty cut of meat I could find (there are several!), duck, mackerel, tilapia, real crab, lobster (bought it on sale, woo hoo!)....keeping in mind that I saved the grease (called "schmaltz") from cooking my chicken thighs on the CTD and added schmaltz to meals where fat content was low (like with crab, lobster, salmon, tilapia, etc.).

Here's how I made my schmaltz:
I baked my chicken thighs on aluminum foil. When done, I removed the thighs with tongs, placed them on a plate. Grabbed the aluminum foil next, then folded it up into a "purse-like" shape, to make sure the grease didn't spill out as I lifted it off the oven rack. Then, I took a small salad bowl (like one you'd serve a small salad in and have by individual plates at supper, that size -- not the MONSTER sized salad bowl), and poured the grease in. I then placed this bowl in the fridge. The schmaltz rises to the top, and after about 3 hours in the refrigerator, it hardens well. THEN I cut a line through the top of the schmaltz, right through the middle, so I now have two halves of the circular shape it formed from being in the bowl -- it's in two "half-moon" shapes now. After I cut through it, I can then place my knife back into the middle of the line, and "pop" out one of the sides by applying light pressure (like I was using a crowbar) to one of the sides. There is gelatinous "goo" that has also solidified below the white schmaltz; this is good for bouillon and broth-like recipes, due to its "chicken-y" in flavor. REMOVE that goo from the white stuff (it'll roll right off, it's almost self-separating it's so easy), and separate it out into another bowl. Then take the schmaltz and place that in another bowl. Clean the bowl you used to let the schmaltz harden and separate and save it for another day.

The creamy, delicious white solid schmaltz, has very little (if any) chicken flavor, and can be used as a cooking oil in recipes. It is what used to be used in recipes that now use shortening. It is also an EXCELLENT frying oil. Use it in pan frying in place of oils or sprays for a healthy, delicious way to cook your food!

I know i gained with eggs in p2 tried once and never again so no eggs for me actually i ate eggs to increase my protein so i will stick to fish and meat now on ... my hubby is so lucky he cheated ate a slice of pizza before yesterday so yesterday he ate some chicken like 4 pieces and he still under his LDW .... so i drank coffee , no milk , then i had a 159 grams(cooked) of fatty beef that was my breakfast .

congrats hilda on your huge loss on ctd.

i am a week into my pcds and have been rock steady in my weight. i seem to have locked into .6 over my ldw for the past week and i couldnt be happier. it is so nice to step on the scale every morning and see the same weight day after day. i have never experienced this kind of stability in the 2 years i've been using hcg.

i've even been eating my bread from julian bakery and it has not affected my weight. i sure enjoy having a piece of bread every day slathered in butter and a little simply fruit spread on top....it seems like a dessert to me, so i dont feel deprived.

i ate eggs for breakfast this morning instead of my usual pot roast. i am anxious to see if it affects my weight.

this has been the first week in two years that i havent had to stress over weight gains. i feel like i have more to my life again besides obsessing over that damn scale. thank you again gonnaloseit!

How do you cook your pot roast and what do you put in it? It sounds so good on a cold day like this!

AWESOME, cohoff!!!!!! CONGRATS!!!!!!

And since you've been steady for the 7 days straight you mention, that means you can start following your hunger and ditch the tracker. Don't go crazy on "fast carbs" -- sounds like you're doing it right. Eating like you are eating -- little of bread and not a whole loaf, for example -- that's how you can maintain for life.

"Fast carbs" in moderation is what I'm referring to. Many people commonly don't know that, and forget they should not be eating a ton of refined carbs out the gate from hCG. It's what I believe is due to years of conditioning that carbs are harmless, and people forget everything they've learned about nutrition on this protocol...and focus on the promise of hCG that they can eat whatever they want and not gain over 2 lbs in the next year. It's a true promise, if you don't abuse it. AND it sounds like you're following that mandate PERFECTLY!

In the future, you may see water weight from PMS/period issues. That's normal. DO NOT freak out and do another correction day, ok? You're doing well, and will continue to do well, if you "forgive" your body for water weight gain from time to time. The scale will go back down to normal afterwards. It's happened to me, and I'm not worried anymore when it happens, because it doesn't last long. Just eat normally, as you did before any water weight gain, and you'll get back to where you were...IF that ever happens to you, btw. It's not a given, but a possibility.

CONGRATS again on your 7-day stabilization!! That's when you can stop counting, stop tracking, stop all PCDS, and go ahead with your life. You only need to "follow your hunger" and eat in the way your body tells you....as long as you ALWAYS remember the following rule:

Always remember: when deciding what to eat at a meal in the future, choose to eat a meal that is either a "high fat, medium protein, low carbs/starch/sugar meal OR a high carbs/starch/sugar, medium protein, low fat meal -- never EVER high fat and high carbs in the same meal"
