Glad you didn't continue on with eggs after you saw that gain and learned from it in P2, hilda! Good job.

Okie doke, so I don't know who you got your drops from, but....they didn't help you sufficiently. I believe your tiny tummy may be a contributing factor in your weightloss, sorry to say dear Hilda.

You need to get high protein, in the most effective manner. And without the bulk that most foods will have.

FAT is easier in this respect than protein. Protein is a big molecule, in its usual form, because it comes packaged in big things, typically. Meat (flesh of any kind -- beef, chicken, etc.) is a good example of this. It's GREAT for protein, but for your tiny tummy, it's too big.

I'll look into this, and get back to you. For today, though, eat whatever chicken thigh meat you had left over that you couldn't finish from yesterday. The tracker at mynetdiary.com should help you. USE THE COOKED VALUE for foods, NEVER labels on raw foods, don't forget that. The tracker I recommend has an exceptionally large database. AND CHOOSE NON-USER ENTERED FOODS whenever possible. If you can't find a food except for info that lists info from users, google your food first (again, for COOKED versions), but if you can't find the info you want, use the one that the user created in the tracker. You can CREATE YOUR OWN foods, which is why googling works -- you can find info an enter it -- but it's always better when it's an official entry by the USDA database which is what non-user created foods are.

Have you figured out your fat grams and stuff yet? I have NO idea what the problem it is that you're having, as you didn't specify what the problem was. If you're still having issues, describe, please, the issues you're having in detail, and why you can't figure something out.

I BAKE MINE....and remember: the pot roast she speaks of, my dear Mini, is JUST the meat. NOT a dish with veggies. Hope you didn't get your hopes up.

i bought my drops from easyhcg they say 3x 6x 12x ... and i guess they were helping because i started at a high dose 12 drops 3x a day and at the end i was 3 drops 3 x a day .. and not hunger. ...
here i copied from your blog with my weigh
Quick math: 4 calories per gram of protein; 9 calories per gram of fat. I'll use me as an example: 1915 calories are my calorie limit for PCDS, first two days for sure. My LIW is 198.2 ; 120% of my LIW in grams of protein is 237.8 (rounded down to 238). I then multiply 238 grams of cooked protein grams by 4 calories for each of those cooked protein grams, and I get 952 calories from those grams of cooked protein -- that's how many calories are in those grams, and that calorie/gram amount is my MAX AMOUNT of protein to eat, but not what you have to eat in protein ... THE 952 IS MY CALORIES OF PROTEIN ... SO MY CALORIES OF FAT SHOULD BE 963 CALORIES??
You can do it , you just have to try.... nothing is impossible with determination.

hi mini.... i use a beef chuck boneless roast and cook it in the crock pot with 1/4 cup water, no veggies, no spices. like gonnaloseit said, its just the meat.

gonnaloseit.... i no longer have water weight from PMS/period issues, i am 58 and had a hysterectomy 10 years ago. thanx for the reminder to never have high fat and high carbs in the same meal.

hahaha No, I know better now. Any particular cut that works better? I probably would crockpot it. I suppose adding some red wine to it, while it's cooking, is wrong?

I use the select grade of chuck roast (what my supermarkets call pot roast beef in this area, the midwest). Select is better than prime, as select has more fat than prime. It has a perfect balance of 60 fat, 40 protein, which is PERFECT for PCDS.

And...the wine isn't great, because...even though it's cooked off, it is a substance that has carbs, and sugars, and some of those are left behind on the meat. SOooo...I've gone back and forth on this, and I'm going to say "no." Because of the sugars that are broken down by cooking and left as a residue on the meat. For P4, though, welll, sure. But not on PCDS, even if you do it in P4.

    Hiya hilda.

OOookie doke, this is what we're going to do.

You need to use the tracker at mynetdiary.com, for computing your ratio. Don't try to go "backward" with the computations; let the trackers help you do that.

The calories are a factor, but let's not get ahead of ourselves by tracking them without the tracker, because this math can be tricky.

Do you have a mynetdiary.com account yet? Or, even better: do you have their app? The ratio is not based merely on grams, but the calories from the grams themselves. It IS a little weird to do at first, but the tracker is a HUGE help.

Let me know about the tracker, if you have it, ok? Then we'll go from there.

Easiest way to proceed with PCDS until you figure it all out: eat a little breakfast, a moderate lunch, a large snack, and a moderate dinner.

The PERFECT food: chuck roast, the select grade. Until you get the other calculations in order, eat that. Cook it to medium temp, and you'll be fine. But we can't have you eating it for all of PCDS, so for now it's a band-aid.

    Hiya hilda.

The mynetdiary is for...tracking RATIOS, and the amount of grams/calories/etc. in your food that you consume. IGNORE the calculator for "ideal calories" there, honey.

There are only TWO CALCULATORS to be used with PCDS. The first, at the calculator.net site, and the second, at the American Cancer Society site. Ignore, IGNORE the calories recommended in the mynetdiary, honey.

I'm going to have to calculate this for you, right? I think I need to, to prevent any potential missteps. I'll need your age, height....I believe you already posted your LDW. PM me with those details, 'k

    Talk with you later!

gonnaloseit....when you said "Don't go crazy on "fast carbs" -- sounds like you're doing it right. Eating like you are eating -- little of bread and not a whole loaf, for example -- that's how you can maintain for life."......were you referring to my eating a slice of bread?

i am eating the coconut flour bread from julian bakery. it is organic, starch-free, grain free, gluten free, yeast free, soy free and dairy free. each slice has 6 carbs but only 1 net carb. do you think that will be a problem?
