    Worried about this dessert that I ate today, but it was SOO good!

    Last night I made a improv dairy cake. The ingredients were:
    1 C full fat Labne (sort of like yogurt, but with the consistency of cream cheese)
    3/4 C Heavy Whipping Cream
    2 Tbls Cacao powder
    3 packets of Truvia
    about 1/4 C Almond flour
    3 spoonfuls of butter...

    This is based off my favorite cake that my mother in law makes, and for the first time in P3, I was having a SERIOUS craving. I am also very stressed out, so that is probably why I am having cravings...

    Anyway... I mixed together the almond flour, butter and one packet of Truvia and put on a piece of foil to go in the oven on broil for about 5 minutes, creating something semi-cake like that eventually gets crumbled up... I think I used too much butter, but the goal was to get it somewhat cake-like...

    I took the Labne and beat it to a nice consistency, in another bowl, I beat the heavy whipping cream until doubled in size, then added the cacao powder and 2 packets Truvia and mixed a little bit more... after that, I combined the heavy whipping cream mixture with the Labne and beat it just to combine the products.

    I then put the mousse mixture into a round pie pyrex, smoothed it out, and then crumbled the almond flour mixture on top of the dairy and put it into the refrigerator last night.

    OMG It's my favorite thing ever... and I'm pretty sure it's P3 legal... I am just very worried that I will gain tomorrow, actually I know I will, because I lost portion control... Just venting here... Either way, I will admit that I am willing to do a steak day for this dessert... however, if I keep that mentality, then I will never stabilize!!!

    Please let me know your thoughts on this recipe-- If you ate this, would you gain the next day??

    Several things matter, where are you at on P3? Have you had almonds and/or dairy yet? I wouldn't stress about it as stress won't help either. It's done now, and just wait and see. A way you can make your cake and eat it to? As soon as it's done, portion it out and freeze it. I have to freeze it so it isn't readily edible.

    I'd be watching the Truvia, as well, since it isn't pure stevia.

    All of this is allowed in P3 and you don't have to worry about portions in P3. The only thing that might trip you up is if you react to dairy or nuts. If you don't, then it should be fine.
