    Arrow Alcohol/vodka

    Planned to drink alcohol on Tuesday (first day of week five). Its from ketel one. Botanical. Got cucumber and mint. Apparently no added anything and considered a "diet" drink. Flavors apparently come from essence.
    I'm not a big drinker in general, but would at least want to get a little tipsy with a friend for once since before hcg. Thoughts?

    You're in P4, right? You should be fine. Drink water before, during and after and you're less likely to end up with a headache. HCG makes us cheap dates

    Just be careful, p! You weigh quite a bit less (congrats!) and there’s something about that, HCG or the two together that for me have zapped me badly with vodka and wine, as well. After my first successful run with HCG, we went to a neighborhood get together where I had about 4-6 vodkas over several hours and I was fine until it hit like a ton of bricks. I was barely able to walk my svelt self back home, leaning heavily on my DH. Not a good night. . Btw I can count the times I’ve been drunk on one hand and I’m o l d (((fun)))

    Thank you for your responses! Decided to drink today and got drunk within the first few sips. Had about 2 1/2 glasses (mixed with la Croix). Drank 70oz of water afterwards and doing ok now haha.
    What drinks do you guys recommend? I am ok with vodka, but how is red wine?

    I'm a whiskey/bourbon snob, low calories, low carbs, zero inflammation for me. Can't say the same for wine, sadly. Just note, I'm an old lady and like old people drinks....

    I think everyone metabolizes alcohol different. I guess you will just have to figure out what works for you. I do fine with dry wines, which have the least amount of sugar.

    Yes, I agree with you. Everyone in different ways absorbs alcohol. Also, a lot depends on the person and his preferences. In general, I'm a drinker...Because I try to lead a healthy lifestyle. But sometimes, on holidays, I allow you to drink a couple of glasses of wine. In addition, many say that wine is helpful in small use. So I try not to overdo it with him. Recently I came across an interesting article and found out how long alcohol does stay in your system. Therefore, I don't really want to drink alcohol. Ultimately, I don't want to become an alcohol addict.
