    Question Mozzarella Cheese issues?

    I've had mozzi twice and each time I've gained exactly 7 oz. So I will be leaving that out from now out. I've also tried feta cheese and I don't gain with it at all. I have a recipe this week that uses mozzarella, but not sure what to sub for it now. Its just chicken with mozzi slices on top and tomato.

    -What would be the best substitution?
    -Is mozzi a completely different class than feta?

    It's hard to say why you would react to one cheese and not another.

    For me I found out I can't eat yellow cheeses, weird huh? I eventually figured out I am sensitive to annato seeds, which is what is mainly used for coloring in yellow/orange cheeses. Not the first thing one would suspect, for sure.

    So who knows about the mozarrella. I would just sub for a while and then maybe try a different brand, or a raw version. Or a goat or sheep version.

    I would leave the mozzarella out of your recipe if that would work for you, or use a cheese that you've already tested as safe. If you can do feta, you might be able to do ricotta, which isn't melty like mozarella, but has a mild flavor. Even cottage cheese.
