    Natural sugars and cravings

    I have an issue. When I eat things such as apples I feel as if I am just so hungry and cant stop eating. I tried to reintroduce them and its just not working out.

    Its bothersome to id like to fix it but unsure what route to take. Ive been scrolling through the posts and have read things such as the leptin reset and candida to try to fix it.

    What do you guys think is best to try to fix this?

    It might help not to eat the apple alone. If you can pair it with some protein (example: a mozzarella stick or some collagen-laced tea, or a few nuts) that can slow down the sugar absorption and keep you more even.

    The fact that you’re so hungry as a result of eating something sweet makes me think it could be Candida.

    Candida is something I’ve always worried about, so I like to limit sugar and carbs whether on HCG or not. I think the only thing that helped me with my cravings was eliminating sugar and carbs from my diet months before I even started HCG. So now when I eat my fruit, I do it out of necessity and have no cravings behind it.

    When I eliminated sugar and carbs from my diet, I had horrible die-off symptoms, headache, brain fog, and fatigue. After a week or so, my energy was restored, and now I have more energy than ever, think much clearer, and accomplish a lot more in life. I’m convinced it was Candida. And even though I’ve seen improvements and have made drastic changes to my diet I know that beating Candida is a constant battle.

    P2, I only eat 1/2 grapefruit daily.

    P3, I try to do Candida/parasite cleanses.... enjoy cocoa crack as my “sugar” treat, and have perhaps 2 apples a day or 1 apple, 1/2 grapefruit.

    The only carbs I’ve been bold enough to consume in P4 is sweet potatoes and almonds.

    I still have a couple of more rounds to go, but I wonder how I’ll do when I’m done with HCG all together.

    Like Leez suggests, perhaps you should always eat your fruit with a meal and never alone. I hope you find something that works for you, because cravings are the worst!

    Its odd to me because it really only happens with fruit. I can only stick to strawberries. No blueberries, no red/reddish apples. Havent tried raspberries or blackberries but plan on to soon. Anything sweetened doesn't cause the cravings fruit does. I eat it after I am done with my meals.
