Dink06 - Little late, but just noticed your comment on eczema...from personal experience--you can totally cure eczema and psoriasis with high doses of vitamin D3!!! I haven't seen it not work on someone, yet! Now you only stay on high dose for about a week or until symptoms go away, then you bring it back down to 8,000 or 10,000. Just thought I'd share. Hate to see someone needlessly suffer as I did for too many years!

I've been doing oil pulling for a couple weeks now. I, too, notice less joint pain from severe osteoarthritis, whiter teeth, and pinker gums. I've recommended it to several of my friends, too. It's totally fabulous for being such a simple morning "thing". I've been using sesame oil, but may try coconut oil.

Is it contraindicated when you have a lot of tooth fillings? I remember reading that somewhere...

    Hi!

I found a good review on oil pulling here:
    http://www.jonbarron.org/detox/nl110...trong-immunity

I tried it with Sunflower oil but couldn't continue after 5 minutes, eeeuwwww..... I'll try it again after my R2P2 of hCG and then with coconut oil, that should at least taste better! I'll be starting my next round in the new year, so I can't do it long enough now to notice a difference.

I did what the review recommended, added Tea Tree oil and Limonene Oil. After I gave up on oil pulling I now use 1 drop of each on my toothbrush (with toothpaste) and my teeth do feel less sensitive (Tea Tree Oil is also known to improve bleeding gums).

I'll be sure to check back here when I start oil pulling again!

    Good Luck !

Better late than ever! LOVE, LOVE, LOVE IT! Did it religiously before HCG, am just now getting back to it. I prefer Sunflower because it is a milder flavor, swish for 20m mins a day in the morning while getting ready to go.

I only wish I had known about it many years ago, it has healed the health of my mouth tremendously. I suffer from periodontal issues, and substantial bone loss... when I swish regularly, my teeth are shiny and whiter, my teeth are stronger - ie: no movement (as in soon to be lost/removed). My sinuses and phlegm has cleared up etc.... I could swear it seemed that my hair was actually getting darker, but who knows? I have a lot of gray....

For something so easy, so inexpensive, and so potentially helpful, I don't know why everyone doesn't at least give it a shot. Can't hurt! At least once passed Phase 2 You get used to it pretty quickly - in a day or so - swish for 20 mins.

Ok, so I am asking can you oil pull on phase 2, since you are not swallowing the oil at all?

My same question. I will post this question on the "Ask Grammy" site.

Just wanted to add my experience with oil-pulling on this thread.

I started doing it after my teeth got sensitive from too much brushing with an Arm & Hammer whitening toothpaste (probably from the baking soda, which is an abrasive)

I use coconut oil, and do it for about 15 minutes, and then just brushed a bit with a very soft brush and salt water. After a week or so, I could see my teeth getting whiter, and my gums stopped bleeding. The whitening continued up to about week 6 at which time, it was notable enough that people were remarking on it. At my dental checkup about 3 months later, my dentist was amazed at how little tartar build up there was and he noticed the change in tooth color without my mentioning anything. He said my gums were healthier than he had ever seen them, and there were no cavities or problems with my many fillings. My sensitivity issues have gradually disappeared and sensitivity is no longer a problem. I don't brush everyday anymore, I just rinse out with warm saltwater after the oil pulling, and maybe use my soft toothbrush once a week or so if I feel like it. Mt teeth always feel clean and smooth.

I've tried sunflower oil, but I like the coconut oil flavor much better. I think it gets your teeth whiter, and coconut oil has anti-fungal and anti-microbial properties that make it a better choice for that reason as well.

I don't do the oil pulling on P2, because I follow the strict protocol.
