No real change in my weight this week(down .4) and this was my best week trying to follow all the THM rules. Maybe I am still eating too much??????
I should probably go to a weekly weigh-in too. But I can't decide if that will be less stressful or more! haha!
Looking at my logs, and if I took Sunday for instance, as my weighing day, I've gained about a pound every week except for 2 of them where I stayed the same as the previous week. That's not a very good pattern.
Seeing that makes me want to do something drastic, like maybe THE PLAN cleanse or something. I'm kind of afraid of steak days now, because the last two I did caused rebound gains worse than what precipitated them.
Anybody have any ideas for me? *gets pad and pencil out....*

Leez, Zint Collagen. I gave it to BF. Great on your drop!
I opened a new Green can and it didn't dissolve as well as it used to! Bummer.
Ginger, reactive foods are so sneaky!
I had a cortisone shot to my knee last Wednesday. I know I have inflation from that.
Lees I have no ideas as I struggle with this as well. I say keep plugging along. All the research I have been doing seems like this kind of plan works. The other programs I have looked at don't do the fuel separating but still limit carbs, add healthy fats and have small portions of protein.
I am going to weigh in tomorrow. I have lost a few off my waist but I have not seen anything on the scale move yet.
You reminded me I had some blood work done when I was in Greece. My brother in law who is a doctor did them and they are all in Greek so hard to figure out. I just pulled them out.
My T3 is on the low side of normal. Obviously not optimal. My sister in law who is a dietician told me to eat 3 Brazil nuts a day and I am thinking that would be for selenium. I forgot about that. I guess I should do some more research.
Yes Brazil nuts are high in selenium. Optimal free T3 is 3.4 or so.

Happy February, all.Tis happy for me, because my pound dropped off and a bit more. Down 1.4 today from the pound gain yesterday. Nothing is clear yet why I'm having these big jumps up and down. I'll just keep collecting data. Last10, I did have some Zint collagen yesterday...so hmm.
Day 4 in a row of getting my daily walk in. Not sure if I'll make many more as its supposed to go into the 20's soon. 50 is about my cut-off. And it can't be a windy 50.
I take selenium as a supplement, and also boron. They are both heavy metal cleansers. I take selenium whenever I have tuna to counteract the mercury. I think taking boron is important with this plan, because if you are drinking the oolong tea, you are getting some fluoride along with it.

Last: I have the Great Lakes Green Can and it dissolves really well for me.
I need to go get my bloodwork done again in Canada. It's all Greek to me! Ha! Too hard to translate. I must not have had free T3 done and have the total T3 has a range of 0.60 to 1.8 ng/ml and I am at 0.78.
Interesting enough with all that sun last summer my vitamin D is in the healthy range but not optimal according to who you listen too.
Time for a check up I think.
I do not drink the oolong because of the caffeine. I thought of finding some decaf oolong.
Yeah. I never had green can look strange like this. No bloat so will continue to use.
I'm starting the 100 day challenge to really read the book and commit to 3 hour feeding window and fuel sources. My 8's have gotten tight. I'm not happy about that!
I wonder if you got a bad batch of the Great Lakes stuff? I haven't used that one, so can't compare. But I did notice that the THM collagen was very clumpy when I tried to mix it in my coffee. The Zint collagen disssolves perfectly without even stirring. It's kind of mesmerizing.I've put the THM stuff aside and I'll use it in recipes instead.
No bloat for me from either. Which is great. I really am looking forward to the skin and hair improvements the collagen should deliver.
So far, I'm not up enough to have to change sizes, but I would be if I didn't have stretch in the waist of my jeans. I sure feel the extra weight though.

Last, Where can I find the 100 day challenge? It sounds like something I need desperately. I am still snacking at night(not every one but too many, I guess) when not really hungry. My pants are feeling slightly uncomfortable also..
My DH continues to shine on THM.( Have mixed feelings about this). LOL. I am so proud of how well he is doing. But I am jealous that he isn't working as hard as I am to stay on plan and getting better results. .
