    Yes, I know the evil rice fairy. She and I had a head against the wall bashing contest and she won. Wheat fairy too.
    Beer didn't seem to effect me that I noticed...didn't have much though... so I'm thinking I can have barley. Corn and potatoes worked for me but my heritage is Irish, Scottish,German, French, English...the majority are potato people. Not sure how I got the "get out of jail" card on corn, but who cares. Sad club to join...but yes...many of us are in it. But on the bright side....once we learn the triggers we can keep the weight off.

    I don't know why I thought you were in p2. I haven't seen you too much lately. I gained over 7 pounds on load days!
    I started out 1.6 over ldw to begin with. So my over the ldw weight on my highest load day was 9 lbs over! Yikes!
    I've lost 4.4 of it...should have lost more but handled fatty food with bare hands then forgot to skin my fish before cooking. Oh well. At least I'm losing. Why cry over spilled hcg, right?

    OK, reviving an OLDY!!! I know there are a ton more out there in P4...come one, come all!!!

    My last week of P4 before loading again this weekend for R2. I've found P4 to be almost non-existent, though it's been 5 weeks. The first week was before Christmas, when I was scared to add anything. Then Christmas came and I binged on FUDGE!! Steak day took care of that. Week 3 was New Years Eve wedding in Savannah, GA, including eating out every day, drinking every day, and eating a huge wedding feast. Steak day took care of that too.

    So now, I'm lean, mean, and green in my last 2 weeks. Yesterday, I added all natural MOM's best oatmeal. YUM! I even let myself have a fun size almond joy and 6 Whopper candies. Today, I added homemade whole wheat dumplings in my chicken and veggies.

    A day in the life of 3rd shift P4:
    Breakfast (7 pm) : Boiled chicken with stock, green beans, carrots, peas, onions and homemade dumplings (whole wheat pastry flour)
    Lunch ( 10:30 pm) : Fage yogurt with blueberries, boiled egg, grapes, walnuts
    Dinner ( 3:00 am) : Grilled turkey burger, no bun on romaine, with dill relish, sugar free ketchup, and mustard, flaxseed mug cake.

    whoohoo I'll be in R2P4 in another 5 days.

    My DIL and younger son both want in on my next round. DIL asked about starting now and I told her I was being selfish.. I wasn't gonna deal with her being P2 and me being P4 at the same time.. she's my dining out partner

    I thought I would post here, since I have been reading the steak day thread and saw the link to here.... I have been in P4 for about 4 weeks.... it is interesting to find out what I can and cannot eat as far as gaining goes...
    It seems I can have beans, cornmeal & corn chips, Kashi mixed grain cereal, most dairy, and P2 foods, etc. but as soon as I have flour tortillas, white bread, oatmeal, grape nuts, any of those cause a gain and a mad craving for sweets!
    I am able to eat about 1800-2000 calories a day without a gain as long as I stay in those "safe" food areas. I am really loving
    P4.... but thinking I want to do another round in March... hate to give up all of these wonderful foods for P2, but want to start losing again. I have about 15 more pounds I want to lose.....

    Ugh, I think I have a GI problem, or a sensitivity to dairy. I've had it since I had my third baby 4 years ago. Every now and then I bloat up and burp for 30-45 minutes straight. It happened at my BIL's wedding after I had bananas foster with ice cream (amongst other hearty things). Saturday, it was after Fage/blueberries, walnuts, grapes, a salad with blue cheese, and a burger patty with swiss. Last night, it was after chicken dumplings with wheat flour dumplings, fage/blueberries, walnuts, grapes, and a boiled egg. The only thing I can see common is the dairy...ice cream, fage, swiss and blue cheeses....I think I'm going to make an appt with a dr.

    I'm up a pound too...

    I start Round 2 this weekend. Excited and scared as always. It's funny that I feel so fat now, when at the end of P2, I felt sooo skinny. And I'm only 3 pounds heavier.

    Wow, another round with 4.2 to lose? You are so close. I have a bit more about 7 lbs when I hit my LDW which I am 2 lbs or so from. Try not eating dairy and see what happens. I know some say probiotics or enzymes help a great deal with this. Hope you figure it out.

    I did a steak day as my last one got me down 4 lbs which has happened before. This time I lost about 2 lbs and a little over. I forgot the ounces on my scale but I know I am 144 something. Doing what Grammy suggests the next day, no dairy, nuts, carbs. Of course I want nuts and cheese but a no for today. I never do lose the next day after a steak day though. I may have to do another round as my last round, on P4 I started vacation on day one of it and gained 11 lbs that first week. I did not eat poorly but I think not enough and when I drank beer, I had carbs. I might do another round if I do not think I am reset. We shall see. I figured my last 7-10 lbs can go from steak days and low carb etc. We shall see.
    R1..start weight 180 ended at 156 40 day round
    R2..start weight 162.2 end weight for R2=142.4 26 day round
    R3..start weight 156.8 end weight 127.4 77 day round
    * Total lost 53.4 lbs doing HHCG drops. Reached my goal!

    I'm finding my R2P3 steak days aren't as big a jump as my R1 was.

    Today is last day of P3 for this round. 5 weeks and back for R3.

    R you skipping phase 4? I was worried about the way I did phase 4 my last round. I am thinking though, if I get to where I want to be and maintane it, then I should be okay. The question is, can I maintane if I screwed up my last P4? I did very well the first round and completed all rounds and stabalized. What to do. I guess I will just see if it works and if not, I will do another round.

    Well Phase 4 for me is mostly a continuation of P3 with a bit of starches and an occasional sugar tossed in. I did 65 days of that between my first two rounds with pretty much no problems maintaining.

    I also tried to avoid fats at a meal when I was eating starches.

    Do you think since I messed up P4 last round that I am not going to be able to stabalize? It seems when I eat or should I say binge, I do often way the same the next day instead of going up. I notice if I do that too many days in a row, I will gain but that is normal. I am just concerned that I may not have re set like I think unless I repeat another round.
