Thread: This Diet works! and here's the proof

    Thought I'd stop back in and say hi, still doing well hitting 177 a little more often than I'd like but still staying within 1.5 pounds consistently. I did notice Sugar will cause a spike on occasion and Water is a must!

    Well, I’m back, and doing another round grrrrrrrr. In short held at the 177-179 weight for almost 2 years then started to slip, in each case when I changed a behavior weight did NOT go up right away so I figured I was good...then weight creeped up slowly. I didn’t ballon too bad, 187-189 but I had a window of opportunity before summer so thought I’d hit HCG again. here’s what the causes were:
    1) lost water drinking discipline
    2) food discipline, again, at 1st small changes didn’t cause gains before they did
    3) Rum punches...I LOVE floating in my pool with rum punches, perhaps too much :-/


    Well good news it’s Phase 2 day 2 and 1st weigh in I’m down 4.6 pounds. Target this time is 169...let’s see how it goes!

    I have had two very successful rounds of P2 followed by two bombed P3s. I am back and determined to make it through to P4 successfully. This diet definitely works. I am currently on day 10 of P2 and down 9 pounds. I am doing a 6-week round this time and I am feeling very motivated to see it through to the end!

    It sounds like you've made a great decision to get control again and you've identified the issues that led you to regain some weight. I wish you a successful round.

    AKarcker God that was inspirational!! I just read the very first post from 2015. You ARE AWESOME!!!!! I am back after gaining 66 pounds, and tomorrow is VLCD1. If I keep reading positive posts like this I'll be feeling good in no time. This time, when p2 is done, I have got to learn how to take care of myself and COOK REAL FOOD!!! Thank you for making my night, I can do it!

    Razzcatt how's it going? You still going strict heading towards your 6 week goal? I am making the committment to do 30 days with NO cheating. I'm going to drink my water, walk 20 minutes daily, and ENJOY this program. Every day I am tapping in a little positive EFT to help myself be even MORE positive about getting through this round. I don't want to just "get through" I want to ENJOY and have fun the next 30 days allowing my body to release toxins and fat and reboot.

    Thanks SK, Razzcat and Jimmr. Things going according to plan, down 18lbs so far. This time making good use of an HCG cook book. Recipes for Chilli, Fajitias stuff like that all modified for phase 1.

    I am on day 19 and down 13 pounds. I'll take it! I have been taking the weekends to plan and prep my meals ahead so that I don't get off track. I have considered adding exercise but I don't want to do anything to slow the weight loss down. So other than walking the dog, I am taking it easy. It hasn't been too terribly hard to this point, other than a few days that I have been a bit hungrier. Half way through my 6 weeks!

    Well, just like the title says "this diet works!" so on P3 now. dropped from 197 to 172.2 so I called it good there...25lbs in 30 days, about par for the course. time to CAEFULLY ramp up calories and stabilize and most important LISTEN TO MY OWN ADVICE! lol

    - razzcat dog walks are fine and abut the most I'd suggest. wait till P4 4 and after for aggressive exercise

    Thanks Jimmrr!

    OK more proof: You'll see my attached weigh-in record, seems 171 is my new weight, minor fluctuations +/- by .4lbs as I ramp up to 2000 calories a day, I'm good with that.

    LESSONS:
    - What was AMAZING was how fast I went from 188 to 197 in 2 weeks when I "threw caution to the wind" and ate whatever I wanted whenever I wanted. That doesn't mean I can't have pizza or cake again but if I'm not VERY careful my natural tendency is to go back to the mid 190's. So if I want to stay 171 I have to watch EVREYTHING of course you're mileage may vary

    - This diet works EXACTLY the same EVERYTIME! provided you follow it precisely. It's not my intention to do HCG every 3 years but to demonstrate this is a viable and effective method with results that can be duplicated again and again.

    OK, hopefully I will not be back to have to show how it works AGAIN! lol

    Checking back in, 7 months and holding at 169ish, I use 170 as my max weight. Water can not be over emphasized!
