It happens. Social occasions during P2 are hard.

Drink water, get good sleep, and try grammy's inflammation smoothie as either your first meal of the day or your last one tomorrow:
1 cup water, 1/2 cucumber, 2 stalks celery, 1 lime peeled, 1" knob fresh ginger. Blend together with water in a high end blender and down it.
If you are not mixing vegetables, you can eliminate the celery and/or replace it with cilantro (a diuretic herb).

Thanks Leez: I gotta start checking this sooner......

I drank 4 liters of water.
    I slept from 9:30PM till 5:00AM (7.5 hours)
But because I am just checking my messages now, I am already at work and did not see the post so I did not have the shake.

I am going to follow protocol today and tomorrow if I gained again or stalled I will do the shake? Or do an apple or steak day instead?

You are on track, keep the faith!

You don't really have to do anything except stay on protocol, but the smoothie helps if you have any bloating from the misstep. You can do it tonight as a last snack, or in the morning. Or not at all. (To be clear, the smoothie is not in addition to your day's menu, you just have to arrange your vegetable consumption to allow for it.)

Don't do any kind of correction day. It is not going to change anything. There is no steak day for P2 anyway, so doing one is going off protocol. The apple day may be helpful if you are stopped up, but that problem is more gently remedied by taking a good dose of magnesium. Doing an apple day just adds more stress to your body for minimal results, and even Dr. Simeon said it was of psychological benefit only. It doesn't change the trajectory of your losses. And I think many people don't realize that you can't drink anything on an apple day. That makes it even harder. P2 is already hard. It doesn't seem worth it to me.

If you want to do something, I suggest a nice hot hot soak with epsom salts right before bed. The magnesium absorbed by your skin will relax you for a better sleep, and will aid with your elimination as well.

I know. Its really not worth it, is it?

I'm glad it has turned around for you. Some people take 3-5 days to get going again after a mistake.

Yeah I was surprised honestly, I expected it to take longer. Maybe what saved was it was only one item and not several and it was one meal not a whole day? Who knows, does not matter really. All that matters is I am back on track.

The real test comes Thursday. Company Christmas Party and it is my last day of injections...... The timing could not be worse.....

    P2 Party strategy 101:

Get a glass of soda with a wedge of lime in your hand and carry it around all night. It looks like a vodka gimlet so no one will question you and you'll fit right in. Do a lot of wandering around and try not to sit at tables where eating is going on if possible.

Remember that the transition to P3 is super important and you don't want to mess that up.

    Good luck!

12.9 pounds down as of today, 1 last injection tomorrow and then Fri and Sat 500 cal still with no injection and then P3 starts Sunday

Not as good as I was hoping for after 21 days and only 1 mishap (and less than I have done past attempts). But it is better than not losing anything and still being at my old weight.

I just have to make it through the Christmas party tomorrow and then I am good for a bit. With P3 starting on Sunday (Dec 2nd), 21 days from that is Dec 23rd. So I should be on P4 for Christmas.

    Leez:
You pop into my thread often so I will ask you... For Phase 3 - I read the "Phase 3 Information" page and what I do not see is how I do Phase 3. By that I mean in Phase 2 it was 100g protein and 200g vegetable for both lunch and dinner. And 1 fruit for each of my two snacks. I do not see anything that says "now increase to Xg of protein and increase to Xg of Vegetable and eat X fruit. "

OR is it just eat what and when you want as long as you only eat the allowed foods? Can I start having breakfast or is it still wait till noon and start at lunch?

Last time I did HCG was some time ago and I do not remember what I did. (old age LOL)

I'm assuming that you did 21 days of P2 with injections plus 2 loading days with injections, as 23 injections is the bare minimum you can do before transitioning and still get the benefit of resting your hypothalamus.

P3 doesn't have a set menu. The only rules are no starches or sugar. The best course is to eat to your hunger satisfaction signals, but not to fullness of stuffedness. Eat as often as you are hungry until you are satisfied. The first few days, you might want to concentrate on healthy fats with your protein so that you get enough calories in with the small amounts that will satisfy you. In P3, do not restrict calories, and enjoy all kinds of meats and non-starchy vegetables along with some fruit. Some people try to stay lower carb so might only eat berries, but you don't have to stick to that. Any fruit is fine in P3, you'll just need to find your balance. Most will do fine eating a couple servings of fruit a day in P3.

There are several common foods sensitivities to watch out for: dairy, eggs and nuts. It is a good idea to introduce those at least 3 days apart to see if the elimination aspect of P2 will allow you to discover any hidden food sensitivities.

    No..

OK, now you have me worried.

I did 21 days total that included the 2 loading days (with injections) It was all I had, I was sent a vial, I loaded the needles and it only made 21, there was nothing left in the vial or I would have made it to......

What does that mean for me?

It means you could have a rough time stabilizing at your LIW in P3 or may not be able to stabilize at all. Just do the best you can. You may gain back some of what you lost, but if you do a solid P3, you have the best chance to keep the regain lower.
