    Today was my last injection YEAH!!!!

    I am a little confused. Everything I am reading says that I am to try and maintain today's weight? LIW (Last Injection Weight) Is that right? The reason I am confused it that tomorrow and Saturday the HCG will slowly start to leave my body, but today I have a FULL dose in me and I am doing 500 cal. Should I not fully expect to lose again today and see a drop at tomorrow's weigh in?

    Anyways, I am done with injections.... two more days of 500 cal and then BOOM, back to full meals Yes strict meals, but still but no more 500 calorie days

    Logically, you would think so. But yes, your LIW is the weight on the morning or your last injection.

    Here's the reasoning: Today and as the HCG continues to leave your body, you will likely lose a bit more. This bit more is going to be important in P3, because it increases your cushion so that it is less likely your weight will swing outside the 2 pound margin, especially in the first few days, when more food volume is hitting your system and your digestion hasn't caught up with it yet.

    Steak Day Today:

    I treated myself to "The Keg" for dinner last night for doing so well on phase 2...
    I had a 7oz filet mignon, king crab and 2x Vodka diet coke.
    I did not expect to gain 2.3 pounds... WOW... I honestly thought that was all good!
    I did only drink 2.25 liters of water. I have been drinking 4 liters... That may have had something to do with it, but since 2 liters is all that is actually required I am not so sure.

    Today: Plenty of water, no breakfast, no lunch and a big steak tonight with an apple.

    Hi Taz,

    Alcohol has a lot more carbs than you realize. I avoid it until P4. Every time I have it in P3, I have problems stabilizing.

    The amount of sodium and fats in restaurant meals probably also created a water retention issue. The Keg bastes its steaks with butter after cooking, that's one of the reasons they taste so good, assume king crab would be the same.

    I wouldn't jump the gun and overreact, just come back to normal and I bet the weight will drop quickly too. You are only ~0.3lb over your "2 pound window". Lots of water and back to the regular foods.

    It was a VERY VERY rocky start to my maintenance portion, but I am back on track and have been for several days in a row now... Happy dance.
