I have 65 more pounds to go as my gw is 143 pounds. I see here are a few people that have lost 100+ pounds, that is amazing and congrats to you all! I am getting married on 21 December 2013 and I cannot be a overweight bride! I am using this as motivation and a way to help me stay on track. I just keep thinking of my dream wedding dress and looking like the girl my fiance met almost 5 years ago.

This is my first time on HCG and so far it has been great, no hunger, loads of energy and I am learning a lot about myself in the process. It is so inspiring to read others success stories and I really hope I will be one too.

    Have a great day everyone.

I just found this group too and hope you don't mind me posting....I started at 225 June 25, doing 40 days with only 5 days left but I am so excited!!! I broke into the onehundred club this morning...Yay! 199.5 !! Now I just have to work on staying there cause I don't ever want to see that 2 number again lol. This is the first time I have been under that in probably 10 years. Never could do it on my own, tried almost every diet out there, personal trainers, etc. So thankful for Hcg!!! and hope to start another round mid Sept so I am on the journey with all of you and wishing the best for all.

I just wanted to check in and tell everyone to stick with it and hang tight! I am off hcg and in P4 and beyond now. I know its rough in the first phases but it works and it is SO worth it! I didnt have that much to lose but in the 1 round i got to exactly where i wanted to be. Im happy to report that i am stabilized and eating a Paleo based diet now. best of luck to all! Stay positive!

Very inspirational post, I love the line "i realize now that reaching my 100# point was not the finish line, but rather the starting line for another phase of my journey. so relax, take a deep breath, get a massage (only baby oil, of course), and enjoy the ride!". Aging is not to be "older" but it is the next level of opportunity and strength.

    Thumbs up Great Post!!

Your post and views are really inspirational as most of the people suffering from fat problem. Most of the people prefer personal trainers or their health & fitness and it is exactly right.

Thanks for this thread. I think those of us with more weight to lose sometimes have different challenges, not to diminish the success of 30 - 40lbs to lose, I know it is still a great accomplishment but for us who are truly 'obese" we have different things to consider. I know for me, it has been a huge mental shift, for the first time I feel like I'm not on a 'diet' per say, in fact I told most people I was doing a cleanse or elimination diet, which to me it has been. I've done every diet out there and had some success at losing but as soon as I would stop the weight would pile on and then I got to a point that even strict diets wouldnt work. HCG is different, if you stick to the protocol it really works and I have no desire to eat off protocol, in fact my problem as I go into P4 is eating enough, now I've broken my suagr and carb addiction I dont feel the need to eat beyond meat and veggies, my body likes the food I'm eating and I love how I feel eating clean. Even though I knew mentally that I was poisoning myself before, I still did it. Now I know how good I can feel, I dont want that feeling to go away. I no longer have sleep apnea, inflammation in my joints ( used to be so bad I could barely walk somedays without taking pills) is completely gone, no more heartburn, no more snoring. How many 'diets' can do that in just over 2 months!!!Not to mention the 10 inches off my weight and the 5 sizes I've dropped and that is just from 1 long round.
I was able to cross my legs for the first time in years the other day, I flew on an airplane without needing a seat belt expander last month, for first time in years. These are all the little things I remember when I'm having a rough day. I havent had sagging skin yet but I'm about half way to goal so I might but I'd rather that and be able to tie my shoes than as I was before.
Its as if I have ignored the vanity aspect of losing weight yet the results are that I'm looking better than I have in 15years which wasnt my incentive but has been a nice 'side effect' .
I think I've been lucky so far and dont expect every round to go so smooth, but I feel like I have control of my body and the food I eat rather than being controlled by cravings.

Good for you Brit! When you have a lot to lose, it is different then say having only 20 pounds to lose. It is awesome that you have had some great and motivating experiences to keep you going! That does help a lot. I would like to lose 120 pounds total - from highest recorded weight ever, to goal. Not sure of and when I will get there, but have learned alot about myself and food in the process!

Brit are you still around? How are you doing? I realize this post was from a year ago after I clicked REPLY. I agree with you, losing weight when you have 100+lbs to lose is different in many ways than losing 20lbs or less.
