Smile My hCG Diet Results - 50lbs gone and maintaining weight loss for over a year now!

It's funny- I have learned so much from this forum over the past 3 years and somehow I never thought to post my before and after hCG pics!

    hcg-diet-reviews-50lbs-weight-loss-hcgchica.jpg
I originally started my first round of hCG in February 2011. I completed my last round of hCG in November 2012. Yes I have been maintaining my weight loss for I think about 15 months now! I started at 172lb and a size 16/18 and have been maintaining at 124lbs a size 2/4 depending on brand. I took pretty long breaks between my rounds and did 5 rounds total- one round, my 2nd one, was a failure round because I totally screwed it up and had to re-lose that weight. The other rounds were successful in that I did it how I wanted to and maintained the weight loss from those rounds.

My bodyfat percent when I started which I did with hydrostatic body fat testing was 34.5% - that was 59lbs of fat on my body (i'm 5'1" btw). When I finished I had 21lbs of fat on me- that's actually almost 2/3rds of all the fat on my body I lost. I've been maintaining a 17.9% bodyfat percent (with a few corrections to my eating here and there whenever I got a little crazy for a few days now and then) for the entire past 15 months.

I have been crossfitting for the past 2 years now to get strong and be in shape because I just love it. I'm hoping to be able to do my first muscle up in the next 3 months- I'm getting oh so close!

What I'm eating in Phase 4/Maintenance
I don't eat low carb to maintain (I think Crossfit has REALLY improved my metabolism majorly) but I no longer eat processed foods most of the time and I do not eat sugar except what is found in whole fruits (okay and some occasional Thai food!) I chose to go dairy free and nut free in the last 5 months and my weight is now even easier to maintain than before - not everyone is sensitive to it but I could tell I personally was because of how it affected my digestion. I have been gluten free for 3 years now. Things I do eat? Lots of whole fruits, occasional dried fruit as a "sweet", lots of veggies like raw kale salads, green beans in butter, onions, carrots sauteed, potatoes, just lots of veggie stuff, SOME occasional grain in the form of rice or organic corn (ie organic corn tortillas or popcorn I make myself- this only occasional though), lots of organic/free range meats including red meat (does well for my body), eggs, coconut milk stuff in smoothies, things like that. I know some women do find themselves needing to stay low carb - everyone's body sure is different- I'm glad that with crossfit to help I have been able to eat a variety of foods with a pretty normal amount of carbs. The dairy was making it hard to maintain though for me- I didn't realize that till I took it out and the scale stopped inching up all the time where I'd then have to correct it.

The changes this protocol have made in my life:
I love my body. Seriously- love it. I even have a few more lbs of fat I COULD lose but I honestly don't care enough because I feel GREAT about myself!

I don't think about my body. My negative feelings about how I perceived myself used to consume so much of my time and energy. I don't do that anymore. My mind is free to be focused on my family and life and helping others. I don't fret over what I'm going to wear and how it will make my body look- I just wear whatever and feel fine in it.

I beat my sugar addiction with hCG. I used to be so addicted to sugar that I would eat an entire half gallon of ice-cream in one sitting. Whole packages of cookies that had 3500 calories total and who knows how many grams of sugar. I had to have this DAILY or I would be very distracted and discontent- I'd drive across town JUST to buy these items and eat them in secret in my car. That is why I explain it as an addiction as that is what it was. I haven't had ice-cream at all now in like 2 years. I crave Kale salad now- for real, I really do! And I avoid sugar almost 100% of the time now (consuming appears to re-trigger the cravings for me so it's just easier and healthier for me to avoid it).

I'm so glad I discovered hCG by accident 3 years ago and so glad it's all that I read about and more. I think we all take a chance when we first try it out, not sure if it could really work as described- it seems so unlikely in light of "logic" - but yet here we are all with these wonderful success stories to tell.

Thanks Alaskamom! I remember being scared about being able to maintain the weight loss. Even when I started making more youtube videos etc I felt worried like what if I can't keep this off, how will that look? I felt this pressure. But now- I just feel free- like it's not even a concern. I have the right tools and it's so manageable. Keep up the good work looks like you've have 2 great rounds so far!

Great results, and you look fabulous. I think you are totally right to be happy with your body now.

I can't imagine, though, how you can think you have more fat to lose at 17% body fat.
