    Talking Maintained over a year!

So I finished my final round in August of 2015 (after about 2 years of rounds and losing 90 lbs), and I have stayed within that weight range ever since!

There have been ups and downs - every time I go crazy with the food for too long, I see the result on the scale. Over indulging around the holidays (even summer holidays!) and not getting back to clean eating has caused me to get as high as 13 lbs over my last measured weight. However, I pull up my socks, stick to strict clean eating for a few weeks and I'm back within my range.

It has been a lot of continued learning (I learned SO much through my HCG journey and it hasn't stopped), mostly about how to live a balanced life and accept the ups and downs are part of it. I stay aware and use everything I've learned about food and my body (I have sensitivities that I only discovered through this weight loss process). At no point do I feel like I'm "done". That might be part of why I've actually kept it off this time - with other plans that have dropped weight quicker I rebound just as quickly and go even further up the scale. But with those, I also felt like I was done dieting and could go back to normal, not getting that my idea of normal was the problem. I ate very poorly and didn't realize it because it really was typical of what a lot of North Americans eat. Now, I get asked if I'm still dieting because people see me preparing my tuna and veggies for lunch, but that's just my new normal. I feel better, I'm healthier, and much, much happier.

Anyhow, I just wanted to stop in and post this. I remember at one point being worried with HCG because there was talk of it not being effective and that you just pile the weight back on no matter what after. I haven't experienced that to be the case at all (but I do understand the lack of continuous success stories here...we forget to hop back in and report on that part LOL)

Keep fighting the good fight you guys. It is completely worth it!!

Thanks so much for posting. What a great report. I think you have found some real wisdom in your journey. This is what jumped out at me:
with other plans that have dropped weight quicker I rebound just as quickly and go even further up the scale. But with those, I also felt like I was done dieting and could go back to normal, not getting that my idea of normal was the problem.
We all have to find our new normal after getting to goal. It only makes sense that something about the way we ate before was responsible for getting us to the point of needing HCG. The good news is that with HCG that is actually possible to maintain.

    Very Inspiring!

    This is just wonderful, Kilyra.
Today is my first day loading on my first round ever, so first injection! I was so happy to find this post!

Last night I felt a little pretentious writing in my diary that I am seeking a "new normal" with this HCG round. I want to eat for "healthy fuel" reasons, and not all the bad ones that I have been. So, seeing your sustained success really gave me a lift.

Congratulations, Kilyra! And thanks for posting your success. I hope that by the end of 2018 I'll be able to post something just like that!
