Thread: Wow, I am down over 100 lbs!

Well, I'd give your body a break for awhile, let it heal, you just had a baby! But in a few months, maybe if you are not breastfeeding? I had bad anxiety for years before deciding hcg, I don't know what I thought would happen to me, best thing in a long long time. I was so scared, lol. I'm scared to take an ibprofen. But I went through a very bad surgical mistake and had to be seriously braver than I ever had before, so then it gave me the guts, if I could go through what I went through medically and with 6 operations in a row (when I didn't even have an epidural with having kids), and all the pain meds, epidurals, etc with it, then I could give HCG a try FINALly. lol.

Can I ask you some questions? I've tried three rounds of hcg. Lost successfully- but I start to feel terrible and lose my focus on the last two weeks. Then I seem to lose control in ph3. I'm thinking I'll stop early this time.. Any thoughts? I know I'm an emotional eater, but I love how I feel on hcg, in control and healthy.. Just wondering if anyone else has this? I go through a docs office, but there isn't a lot of support, so I thought I would look here. I'm going to mail order and do it myself with this group alone. Just wondering if you have struggled in the end ever?

    anything really special to do?

I started the plan today, I guess you would say today is preloading day 1 - this HCG diet seems too good to be true, I am thankful to have come across this forum - i have about 65 pounds to lose and am hoping this is what helps me get back to presentable. Please let me know any tricks/hints, dangers I need to be aware of.
Looking forward to hearing from you all....pksmr

The right dose helps, having the right tools helps (like I like to have tons of different flavored stevia drops), simple things like this help me stay "on". For instance, I shave ice and put grape drops on top for "grape shaved ice" and tastes like a slushie or something. Simple things keep me staying on and keeping on. Stay on these forums, ask questions, read and join a group.

I've been overweight from my thyroid for 17 years! Despite working out 1-2 hours a day, dieting, trying everything! I could only kick off 40 lbs at the most trying for 2 years. So this has been a miracle. Once I have the weight off for 2 years- I will be a success! So far, I started almost a year ago, maintained it all and starting another round this summer. I am in the 190's, so I would like to be 170's for my height/curves.

No tricks, only side affect I had was heart thumping for a few days every round, I carry Nuun tablets basically electrolytes, so I make sure I get enough "potassium/magnesiums" so that my electrolytes are balanced. No idea what the thumping is about, I do have a thyroid condition and sometimes during a round my thyroid works really fast, then I go low again and have to up meds afterwards.

But I lost weight on my own (Took 5x the work of the average person!) and 68.5 through HCG in 3 rounds since July. Yeah... And I've maintained between rounds. When I get to my goal, next goal will be to kEEP IT OFF for 2 years! Well forever, but once I get past a year or two...then I know I've finally got this! And HCG is a tool for me if my thyroid ever makes me gain 15 lbs and before I ever get outta control again, I will use this.

Eggs seem to agree with me, so eggs for breakfast, turkey bacon (I prefer turkey bacon), and half an avocado, fills me good. I am able to tolerate nuts about 1.5 weeks' in so I will have lots of almond flour mug cakes sweetened with stevia for breakfast and they are filling! I do lots of zoodles, pepperoni is tolerable and likeable for me after a week or week and a half. Seasoned chicken thighs!

If I go up a couple pounds, I'll do an egg day, takes the weight back off! I do avocado, turkey bacon and 5 eggs throughout the day, I try for more eggs but cannot tolerate anymore! Some people may be sensitive to it. Cauliflower meals (cauli pizza, etc) are my friend, fauxtatoes, etc. I make "cauliflower" fried rice, I use coconut aminos! Lots of coconut oil (good fats agree with me). I can go out and get two burger patties with lots of mustard and pickle and be just fine (no buns or anything). Meatballs with "homemade sugar free teriyaki or homemade sugarfree spaghetti sauce". (over zoodles if you like). Coconut milk (unsweetened), I fill up on my homemade coconut kefir, an entire can in a day won't make me gain at all! Great probiotics for my gut.

I eat an apple or two fruits a day. 1-2. Away from my "fats/proteins), though. It is scary each time, but I did maintain my weightloss from October to February, so it is possible!!!
I would love to learn how to make all of the things you listed. Sounds wonderful and refreshing.
