    Are there many Canadians around?

Or are we few and far between?

Hi Barb! I got your message, but thought I should post here too! I have seen a few canadians...but I am not that great at reading through the day to day posting...I find I mostly use the search function to find out what I need! lol! So often I miss these kinds of threads. :-) One thing that is hard about being a Canadian on this forum is all the yummy things people mention eating in P3/P4 that I just can't find here in Canada!!! So far, no luck finding nitrate free and sugar free bacon (found nitrate free at the health food store - all had sugar as ingredient number 2). I am on day 2 of P3 - so eating yummy food. Won't mention that too much since you are just starting... Good luck!

Hey, Diva! Are you on the mainland? I don't want to ask too much if you are not comfortable sharing your location. Just wondering. I found the same thing when I was a dedicated low carber; it can be hard to find a lot of things here. It is a lot better than it was then, but still... And health food stores sure charge a premium! It sure is nice to see another Canadian on here, just the same. I don't feel quite so isolated now.

You are not alone. There are 2of us in this household in calgary. We are on r2 ph2 day 16 i am down 16 lbs from day 1. We are using hcg pellets. I started on weight watchers in Feb 2010 at 283 lbs. I lost 20 lbs and got stuck. I used hcg in november with good results and now i am down to 242 as of this morning yeah!!
Getting food mentioned by people in the US is difficult. I use stevia as my sweetner. But we can't get the flavoured ones. Every sunday after my lunch i make up meals for the week ahead. I buy ground chicken breast, fast fry it ( no oil) in 100 grm servings. i chop up roma tomatoes and add tins of diced tomatoes, season the chicken and tomatoes with chili powder. As each batch of chicken is cooking i measure out the tomatoes on to the previous batch of chicken on my scale. It goes quite quickly and then i dont have to think about what to cook when i get home from work. Or what to take for
    lunch.

Hi Julia! I have a half sister in Calgary. Great city. I like this idea of cooking ahead. May need to do that tomorrow. I am a seasonal worker and with the weather improving on the coast, am just getting back to my golf course job today, actually. It would be a good habit to develop now, before I am working a lot.

I live in Fort McMurray Alberta. I've been on HCG drops for 19 days & have lost 15.5 lbs after loading. I was on the injections twice before but wasn't given any info about the VLC diet so of course they didn't work. I found the stevia flavored drops in a Save On Foods store here.
I seem to eat a lot of chicken & shell fish which I can get up here. I try to eat organic If at all possible.
Feel great on the diet , not hungry at all.

Exclamation Hello fellow Canadians - ordering question for you!

I'm glad to see there are others here!

I STILL haven't gotten my first hCG shipment. ReliablePharmacy shipped it to me Feb 23, and it must have gotten stuck at the border.

I've asked them to cancel the order - I ordered a lot (15 total amps) in case I had friends who wanted it... Total price was $270 ish.

Now, I don't know where to go to get Canadian prescription strength stuff. I might have to go homeopathic for the first round - I'd REALLY like to get going on it.

Does anyone know of a reputable company that will send to Canada, and not take 6 weeks? I really appreciate the help.

By the way, I'm in Calgary, too!

    Thanks guys!

Hi there! I'm so happy I found some Canadians!! I was actually looking to see if there was a Canadian link. lol
I'm in Calgary too! I've heard of All Day Chemist - but not too sure if they ship to Canada.
I've also read somewhere that you can get the flavored Stevia at GNC, which I'm going to look into tomorrow & let you know if there are any.
I've been on VLCD for 17 days and down 14.4 lbs...I was losing a lb a day in my 2nd week and I'm down to .3 or .4 - very frustrating...I'm not too sure why.
One thing I love is to cut up some cherry tomatoes and add a bit of Stevia, salt, pepper and Mrs Dash - put them in a pan with some water and once the tomatoes are simmering add in shrimp. Super yummy!
I'll let you know on the Stevia tomorrow ~ fingers crossed!

    Supplier

    Hi
I use legacy group out of salt lake city. The have their own forum board as well.
They only sell drops and pellets but they work well. Sometimes you may need to take more than the dose on the bottle states to not feel hungry si i recomend ordering a bit more than what you want to do. So if you plan on doing the 21 days get the 40 day supply
    Hope that helps
    Julia
