This round when asked if I would like an alcoholic beverage I say, "No thank you, Im not drinking until Thanksgiving." It seems to put an end to all the come on just have one comments. I've also stopped going into details about the diet. I usually say its a diet through my Dr and Nutritionist or vice versa and that I am eliminating carbs and fats. I find going to a restaurant while in phase 2 is much easier than one would think. I do get a kick out of people asking if I would like butter with my bread after I have just ordered protein to be cooked in no, oils, fats or butter. And then they usually bring out oil with my red wine vinegar. People are strange. I just leave out the details because I want them to keep their opinions to their selves.
Lost the first 18 by upping my activity and in Phase 1. Lets see what happens in P2!!!!

I am so tired of explaining it that I stopped. No matter how I said it people were so judgemental. And it takes a while to fully explain. You tell them the hcg diet and they say they heard all these negative things... such a bad diet to Google with tons of incorrect views on 500 calories. Tell them you're food testing and offer to do coffee. Amazing how I found all activities for people revolve around food! I got more loose on round 2, eating at a few restaurants and even gained from dry salads unportioned. So I'm just saying no!

The best explanation (in the long run) is success. Don't let anyone's lack of agreement, approval or understanding keep you from doing what's right for you or keep you from living your best life.

I stopped trying to explain anything to anybody, but when they all see how thin and sexy I am now and ask how I did it, I just say I finally got my hormones under control.

I've figured out 3 or 4 restaurants in my area that serve dinners that I can eat without a problem. I don't ask for special service from the waitress. It's easy for me to pick through a salad and eat the parts I want. I can mix a few veggies and not have a problem. Dressing on the side of course....but everyone does that now. I've found that "grilled chicken breast salad" is generally pretty oil free. Often times the chicken arrives precooked to the restaurant and they just heat it up. There really is very little if no oil. The waitress is looking at you funny because she knows they aren't cooking that chicken breast fresh for you in the back. :-). Granted, at more expensive venues, they do use a lot more oil and butter, and cook the chicken on site. But there aren't many places like that around me.

The other day, I had a Greek salad with grilled chicken on it. I ate around the feta, ate some of the cuke slices, all the lettuce, one cherry tomato, and what I judged to be 3 oz of chicken. There was a Greek dressing on the side, mostly oil and garlic, I dipped my fork in it a couple of times to get the flavor on my fork....but as the smell permeated the room I really didn't need to have any more, lol.

I now now have the reputation of always being a healthy eater. I think because of that, people don't harass me as much as they used to. And I've just found ways to make eating out work, so they don't get the opportunity to also.

.....after thinking about this some more, realize that in time, people will just accept this new way of eating that you have adopted. Because to maintain long term, you need to change how you eat even after p2 and p3. I've eaten this way since 2009, so it doesn't really surprise folks anymore. Even when I'm not on p2, I don't really eat cake, desserts, cookies, breads, pastas, etc. So if I do a quick round to drop 10 lbs due to taking steroids, they really don't notice that I'm eating all that differently than usual. It IS different, but it's a subtle difference. :-). Hope this helps.
