Thread: Adjusting drops?

    Adjusting drops?

Do you adjust HHCG drops the same way as injections, by skipping a dose? I am hungry today, even after eating.

Yes, you do a skip day by skipping your first two doses that day and the assessing how you feel at the time for the third dose --late afternoon or so.

If I am not hungry by the third dose, do I just take 10 drops?
If I have been hungry, what do I do?

If you are hungry by early evening, increase your drops by 2 each time. (So if taking 10 drops 3X day, increase to 12 drops 3X a day) You can start with that evening dose.

If hunger is gone, decrease by 2 drops each time you dose, but start dosing again the next day.

The most likely scenario is that you will be hungrier. They generally start you on hhcg at a lower dose (10 drops 3X), so its not unusual to have to go up some. It seems that many people find a good place at somewhere between 36 and 45 drops per day. But even 60 is not unusual. So it may turn out that a bigger increase could be needed. If, after you have increased, you still are experiencing some hunger after a couple days, just increase by 2 drop increments every couple of days until you find your spot.

I was hungry till after lunch, then it went away. A little hungry now but I just worked out and just need dinner. So I am still not sure. Since it went away for about 5 hours, I think I will start by decreasing. Sounds like a good plan?

What happened in the first part of the day does not matter. But having hunger disappear in the late afternoon means that decreasing is the correct response.

But its not really clear from your report.

If your hunger at dinner was greater than you have been experiencing before today, then you should increase. Working out shouldn't be a factor.

I am hungry again. So it was there, went away and is back. It was definitely different before dinner. Now it is that deeper feeling of hunger again as before it went away. So yes, I think decreasing is the way to go.

And I just realized I messed it up. I took 12 drops this evening. What was I thinking???

Fuzzy brain. I know it well. ^_^

You can start at your new lower dose tomorrow. It might take most of the day to even out, but you will be ok. If you wake up hungry, you could skip your first dose to get your levels down faster.

Yes, I'd give it another day to settle in taking it your normal 3X a day and see where you are by tomorrow night.
