    Dosage Question (looong)

    Hi, I am on day 20 of phase 2 (round1) vlcd....the first week was good, hunger, but was losing and that made it ok. I had a planned cheat and that just sent me over the cliff it seems. I normally eat a raw vegan diet, but went completely on protocol (minus the toasts) for this. And for the last week and half or so I am so freakin hungry it isn't even funny, and its hunger, not cravings. I am tired and weak. I had to really bring down my gym time because I just couldn't do it. I was basically in bed all day yesterday. I was taking 10 drops 3x a day, then went to 6 drops 5x a day like the packaging said. Then I read that too much can make you hungry, so now I am on 11 drops 3x a day. I thought that maybe the homeopathic wasn't working for me, so I ordered some rx, it will be at least a week before it gets here and I plan on staying on the drops and eating a modified protocol, I don't want to gain back what I lost(@ 16 ibs...but I have been petrified to weigh myself in the past few days, and it is TOM, so I don't know what I weigh right now.)I thought it may be not eating a raw vegan diet, which I feel great on, or perhaps it was that I didn't load enough, or perhaps that some of the cooked food set me off....HELP!??I posted my sob story on other parts of the forum and either someone tries to sell me more homeopathic, and I have limited funds, I don't want to keep trying different brands, someone mentioned that my dosage could be off...so if anyone has wisdom to impart...I am all ears! I want this to work, but the way I have been feeling I am ready to ditch losing weight if it is going to make me feel this horrible, since I felt so great the way I was eating before, I just want to get rid of the last 30 pounds (have lost @ 70 doing raw 2 years ago)

    what brand of drops are you taking? Perhaps you need more than 30 total in a day.. or less. The best way to tell is to skip a dose or two one day and see what the change in your hunger that night is. If it's better, you need less. If it's worse you need more.

    They obviously work for you as you can see from your first week. It's the cheating that's thrown you off.

    I am using intermountain. The hunger was there the first week, I figured it took a while to go away. So, I should skip a dose or two and see if I am hungrier or less hungry, but remain on protocol? Is that right?

    Alrighty, I skipped 2 doses, and YES, my hunger is gone, so I need less...I was taking 11 drops 3x....any idea on how low I should go? 9 drops? 8? is it a trial and error thing?

    If your hunger is gone, I'd stay right there.

    Colleen, I skipped 2 doses, so I was wondering what dose to go back on? I was at 11 drops 3x a day. Beth said after skipping if my hunger went away, the dosage was too high, so what should I try next?

    Shelby.. glad this was an easy fix.. I would try going to 9 each time for a day and see how you feel.
