I'm not hungry, but keep making stupid stress eating mistakes, like turkey one day, and today it was jerky. Some of the problem is I'm not sure the patches are really working. IF I'm not hungry they should be working right? I'm worried because I always have my best loses the first week and this past week has been so low. Another thing I did was load for 3 days because I was eating pretty low sugar, low carb before I started. Could have loading for 3 days messed me up and now I have to start over? Any ideas or thoughts would be great.
Three days of loading is what I always do. Obviously if you aren't hungry you can see that the patches are working very well. I would say it's emotional eating that is getting you. You can do it! Decide no matter what you aren't going to cheat. We all know you can't lose on this diet with cheating. The patches are the same as the drops, only so much more convenient. Maybe taking the drops helped you to fill your time and be occupied with something other then food. With the patches you can place one on and forget about it. Try something else to help. Maybe take a few minutes each day and imagine what you will look and feel like when you hit goal. Also maybe journal about your thoughts or feelings for that day. Try journaling when you are going to cheat. Distractions always work great!

    Good luck!

Thanks ladies, I guess i just needed to hear that they were working. I stayed the same today. I am going to tell myself this is the new week, no looking back on past rounds, no second guessing, let last week go, just follow protocal and keep looking forward.

    Hi everyone,

I am new to the "patch" thread and I have some questions about the patch. I am on R1 VLCD8 using hHCG but I'm still starving all the time, even after my meals. I am tinkering with my dose trying to find the "sweet spot" but meanwhile I'm miserable because of the hunger.

I am wondering if switching to the patch would help my hunger issues? Does the patch automatically give your body the amount of HCG that it needs, or could there still be dosing issues? Also, if I decide to try the patch, can I switch from the drops to the patch mid-round or would I have to wait for my next round?

Thanks for your help. I'm hoping to find a solution to my hunger, and quick!!

Hi and welcome! Usually hunger issues as you know are dosing issues. I would stop the drops and see if the hunger goes away or gets worse. It doesn't take long to tell. If it gets worse you need to up your dosage. If you are less hungry decrease the dosage.

You can switch mid-round to the patches. Some on here transition over by taking the patches and drops together for a day or so. Also the patches are replaced every 3 days and no need to adjust the dose. The most I ever did was wear 2 patches in the beginning of the round for 3 days and after that I was fine. I did drops and kept forgetting to bring them with me when I left home and missed doses. I put the patch on at night before bed and changed it every 3 days, so I never forgot because I was home! Lol

Good luck! I hope you feel better.

    Good Morning everyone!

Since I switched over from the drops to the patch I thought I would post here. What a relief it is not to be watching the time all day, worried about when I ate last, what time did I drink water (drops are very time conscience for me) and the patch is a no brainer! I seem to be doing fine, continually losing a bit each day.

    Have a strong day! Cyn

WOOHOOO! That is why I switched as well- I WAS ALWAYS forgetting to take my drops. LOL I love how "freeing" the patches are. It's like whipping off your bra on a hot summer day!
