    Headache

    Iím in day 4 P2 Iíve have A horrific headache for the last four days. Is this normal?

    Unfortunately, yes, it's normal in the first week. It should ease up soon. It could be related to the detox that is happening with the simple meager menu.

    Try to stay hydrated, because dehydration can exacerbate the headaches. An alternating cold and hot pack might give some relief. It is also safe to take a headache remedy.

    In the past when I had a headache I would mix 1/4 teaspoon pink Himalayan sea salt with water and drink. It really helped.

    I'm assuming that justgitterdone meant to say 1/4 tsp. mineral salt.

    Adding some mineral salt to your water does help better hydrate your tissues.

    I've always had that week 1 headache when I've loaded on too many carbs and sugar. On my last round I loaded on nothing but fatty meats and nuts, and never had a headache a single day. The times I did get the headache, I took two Aleve on those days and it went away and it helped reduce some of the post-load inflammation as well.
