    HELP! R2/Day 13 on HHGC - Not the results I expected...Help

I truly believe homeopathy is the way to go. I use it all the time for general health.

I was mentally ready to dive in to the HGC protocol and expected at the minimum to release .5 per day. I did adrenal support and cleanse for 30 days prior just to set myself up for success. Things are not going as I expected. I've only lost 6.6 pounds. I admit I was using Shakeology for a week as a breakfast and think I screwed up there (saw that it was ok on other posts). Im in menopause so I dont have to worry about TOM (thank you!) I've since stopped the Shake O for the last 3 days and have hit a plateau even though I did an apple day. Any senior person have advise for me since I'm seriously suicidal. I thought for sure, this would be my last resort and it would work. I was probably the only person in the world that GAINED weight on Weight Watchers (saw it go up 10 pounds). What am I going to do?

I've never been obsessed with stats and weight and food but now its all I think about. Really mentally messing with my head.

Please don't be suicidal. I think this will work for you but you just need to get the injections. The reason you gain weight on things like Weight Watchers is that it's a starvation diet that lowers your already messed up metabolism. This is what's happening here. The hhcg isn't real and it's slowing everything down. Your only weight loss is that of water and extreme starvation.

Take a deep breath because this works, you just need the right tools. You may have to start over again though. It's worth it when you have the right stuff and the right dose. Keep us posted

    Mustang,

Looking at your numbers show you are going down! Thats a good thing. We all have bumps in the losing process. But stick to protcal and you will start to lose again. I had a 12 day stall i was so frustrated but it finally dropped again. Also remember to measure! You might not be losing lbs but you could be losing inches!! Hang in there! There is a lot of people on this forum that will help keep you motivated!!

MustangMama, please do not be discouraged, your losses are about average (most women lose around .5lbs a day - measured as an average at the END of your round). The process of losing this amount of weight in such a short period of time is very taxing on our bodies, and there are periods of time where no losses occur, or even small gains, as our bodies work through processing the fat out of ourselves.

I have completed 2 long rounds on the HCG diet, and documented my progress on daily weight charts. As you will see here http://hcgdietinfo.com/hcgdietforums...rly-identical/ my loss patterns were virtually identical between the two rounds, though I lost half as much per day on my second round (i had half as much to lose round 2). You will also notice that I had plateaus between weeks 2-4 both rounds, which is right around where you are at right now. Something I want to make note of, is that while I was in my plateaus, or even the week that my weight goes up and down, those were the weeks I LOST THE MOST INCHES!

If you'll look through Pounds and Inches again, you will see that stalls are normal and part of the process in preparing to have more fat exit your body. Also, there are periods of time you will stall or gain slightly as your fat cells take on water to help push the fat out of the cell membrane, and water is heavier than fat. This, of course, seems discouraging to see the number on the scale not move or go up, but its a necessary and natural part of the process of losing the weight.

Keep the faith, stay on protocol, and it WILL WORK FOR YOU.

And if you are having any suicidal thoughts, or even any emotional distress, I would strongly encourage to seek the counsel of a professional to help you though a difficult time.

    Best of luck to you,

I see you are going down too, that's good! What I've been reading is that you go up and down then stall, some even stall for 15-17 days but they keep the faith and trust the program and in the end keep losing. Here is a chart from one of the senior members that have had great success, I believe that she lost 100 lbs+. http://hcgdietinfo.com/hcgdietforums...rly-identical/

Look at the ups, downs and no gains but the arrow moved down overall (meaning weight loss continued on average).

    Best of luck to you,
Thanks for the support. After a 4 day stall, I lost 1.5 pounds, but I added on extra HB egg. I think I needed some additional protein. I consulted with my HK Therapist (kineseology) and we are doing a Hypothalamus energy correction on Saturday that should make things go smoother. I have to mentally get in the space that I didnt get 45 pounds overweight in 90 days and certainly wont correct it in that space of time either. My measurements have stayed consistent over the last week, but I expect that to make a correction sometime next week. I decided to extend my R2 from 23 to 40 days. All I need to do is stay away from the Dairy Queen Drive Thru and avoid Olive Garden altogether (falling face first into a plate of Linguini Alfredo!). Good news is I'm sleeping better and not as cranky.

To those who dont believe HHGC - thats ok. You really have to have an understanding of the homeopathic process, energy frequency and natural healing. Not all have the same belief system and thats what makes the world a beautiful place. I tested well for HHCG and not so well for injections so thats what I'm going for.

In the meantime, keeping the focus and staying plugged into this wonderful forum. I'm reminding myself that "A moment of pleasure on the lips remains a lifetime on the hips". I made some mistakes early on and now have to correct my course.

Mustang: I'm so happy that you're deciding to go with homeopathic, even after negative comments from the other replies. There are a lot of people, obviously even here, who don't believe in HHCG. But there are MANY of us with great success on it- look at my stats for example. I've lost 24 pounds, I look and feel great, and I'm not hungry...nobody is going to tell me that it's not real or it doesn't work.

With that being said, there are some brands that are NOT real...it sounds like you're going to a professional, so you probably have good stuff, but just to make sure- what brand of HHCG are you using? If it's not good that could be the problem. Other than that, I think the shakes were a big part of the problem. I found nutrition facts for it online and it has almost as much carbs as protein, as well as sugar. It's definitely not protocol and although some people might use it and be okay, not everyone can.

Also, week 2 is rough for almost everyone. I had very small losses, plateaus and even small gains during that week even though I stuck to the protocol. And even in other weeks I've had plateaus and gains, but week 2 just seems like the worst for most people.

I would encourage you to look at the Homeopathic Lounge thread in this forum- there are lots of people there with success and if you post a question, you will get people who DO believe in homeopathy, and know a lot more than me, respond with possible answers.

    HHCG does work!

Just hang in there. I am proof that the HHCG does work. I started my first round on labor day and went up to the 18th of October. In that time I lost 31 lbs and am now in p3. I am doing the leptin reset and since starting that I have lost another 4 lbs. This diet works if you follow strict protocal. Don't try to substitute or throw a little something in. Stay the course and you will see results. Good luck and be strong.

I know there are lots of negative comments about HHCG. It can be discouraging with all the misinformation people present about homeopathy. People make up there minds before they understand anything about the science. There are tons of abstracts and studies you can find in various journals that back it up. Not on HCG of course they claim that doesn't work for weight lose in any form. I find it funny that people can ignore all the scientific reports saying HCG doesn't work and discount those as wrong because people have tried it and it is working but they dont think all those negative reports about homeopathy in general can be wrong even though hundreds of thousands of people successfully proved it works. That's fine though "to each his/her own".

My sister is in menopause and her losses are slow and she fluctuates more. Your metabolic rate go's down after menopause and HCG doesn't bring it back up. That's not its function. So you will still lose but lose slower because even though the HCG is providing access to abnormal fat stores. Your body doesn't need to use as much to function like it did when it was busy making certain hormones and causing ovulation like it did before menopause. All of our bodies functions require energy to work. Less body functions, less energy consumed.

You are going down though which is great. I am glad your skipping the shakes for now. Its probably best to stay with protocol foods and maybe increase protein to feed your muscle because this is important to your metabolic rate and muscle function even more after menopause. Studies show men in andropause and women in menopause need more protein to help ensure they maintain muscle and bone mass.

Small fluctuations like that are from water retention or undigested food. Your heading down in weight overall and thats what counts. Hang in there.
