this is only a partial catch up - work is crazy busy -

Wastinaway – happy last week of drops – are you doing a full 3 weeks of P3? About the sour cream and fritos – brush yourself off and just get right on back

AAF – sounds like you are doing good – are you feeling better too? I have never been on fatsecret.com – I am going to try that out

Doingthisforme – you are doing great – I can’t wait to be close to the 130s

Freddie – you are so close to goal – a jean quilt out of your fat jeans is a great idea

Suchaprettyface – love the picture – it is nice to see you!

Pbgirl – I was hoping you would write that the one week off weight gain came off in one day – ha, ha .. I am hoping my weekend of binging would not stick around for too long

Pam – hello – I loaded on thanksgiving but it was the Canadian thanksgiving (Oct 11th) – a great holiday to load

Peggy – how is P3 going?

Abinco – when I am ready for P3 I want your eating schedule? I cannot imagine eating normally and not gaining

Cgrad – looks like P3 going well for you

Shequib – I had moose meat – it was lean – I think like deer meat – and it was okay scale wise

Jenafire – you are doing GREAT …

Deeliteful – I hear you on the out of town guests – that is what I had this weekend – once I had an ounce of off program food, I went to town – I don’t know why I thought the weight would magically stay off ….

Donna – sounds like you are in the grove – keep it up!

    Turtle- hello

    JoAnn – hello

Ibs – glad your back – hope you had a great trip

Beth – hope you feel better soon – did you try the garlic

Just4me – wow – you brought your own salad to the restaurant – that is commitment – way to go!

to anyone I have missed - sorry - I'll get you next time

    Lee-Ann

I used to buy organic whole but now buy Raw milk from a local farmer. I did lots of research and decided to go that way. When I do my shakes which are Jay Robb, I mix milk usually however, I decided lately with all the dairy I am ingesting to just do mostly water with either my whole or my homemade Kefir with the water and they are pretty good that way. You can add Hemp seed or flax if you are in P4 which I am not yet and plan to add those when I am. I also sometimes add fruit and ice. I love his shakes as they have all premium ingredients as he is very picky on what goes into his shakes. no skimping. They are thick and taste good too. He also uses Stevia so no sugar at all in them. They have the egg white or the Whey and I prefer the Whey. I drink several sometimes in a day or one. It depends what I have eaten. However I did read if we eat two in between meals or right before we eat, we consume less food. It does help for those of us that like to eat!

I've learned its what you eat and how much that is key. I would be happy to share it when you are in P3

Good day ladies. Lots to get done as the count down for my vacation is quickly approaching and I will be going crazy here by Wed. Stress is no good for weight loss so trying to avoid it! I will probably not be on here much but might check in while on vaca. I am taking my drops with me so if anyone needs them, I got em.

Today I am again at 143 so okay with that. Rather be LDW but hey .8 above it is not bad at all. Been running around and not eating but make sure to get it in before bedtime. Hope everyone continues to do well and I will get on here when I can. Keep your eye on the prize ladies!

It didn't call for frozen but that's all I had. I squeezed out as much water as I could, but ya that could be part of the problem too. Strange how frozen zuchinni becomes 50% water lol!

Well, I'm up .6 today but that's okay. I kinda went a lil crazy last night. Hubby wanted to go out for supper, so we took the kids and went to eat. I ordered the petite burger and steamed veggies. Well, I put mustard on it and I ate the bun (gasp!) and it was soooo good. I hadn't eaten my breadsticks or melbas for awhile, so I justified the bread that way ( I know, NOT!) and it probably wouldn't have been bad had I stopped there but.... I had some of my DD fries and a chicken strip. The good news is I think it actually made me have a BM which was good because I hadn't for several days. Back on track now that I"m at my lil office for the week. Last day will be Wednesday and P3 will start Saturday for breakfast. I CAN do this. I'll just keep telling myself that, it's only a few more days and I can do this. I've had more cheats these last couple days than I have through all my P2 days combined. Ugh! New day, shake it off and keep going!

Lee-Ann - same to you, shake it off and keep going! You can do this. You've done so wonderful so far. Setbacks happen and you know what to do to get it back off. That's the beauty of hcg!

Yes, I didn't have a picture before. I decided to add one to make it more personal since I've gotten so use to everyone here and get to see all of your beautiful faces (and your children's!) each day. I wondered if I should change my id though. Lol. I chose SAPF that because of the saying "you have such a pretty face....if only you'd lose some weight" :P

I'm down another 1 lb today!! I think I'm finally finding my sweet spot. I'm now .8 below LDW. It feels good to be under LDW instead of over. Good luck everyone! Have a beautiful day.

I wish it didn't take my mind's body image so long to catch up with my body. Some days I would look in the mirror and still see the 158 pound Dee even though I lost weight. Today was different. I am wearing the very pair of pants that made me start HCG. They were about the last pants in my closet that I could squeeze my butt into. I wore them in September and they were so tight I barely got them on. I was fine until I ate lunch. They became so uncomfortable, I had to unzip them a bit. Thanks goodness they zipped from the side and I had a long sweater-shirt on. I was so disgusted that I went home early that day.

Today, they are hanging off me. Since I still have the sad picture engraved in my mind of what I looked like in Sept, and I can clearly see in the mirror what I look like today, my old body image is finally dissolving. I did lose weight and now I can see it. Don't know why that makes me a little nervous but it does. Kinda like I want people to notice that I lost weight but not too much to make a fuss. Hard to explain...

I need some help, I have a friend that really wants to do this, hHCG, but she's having major thyroid problems. She's been on meds for it for the past 2 years but the past few months they haven't been able to regulate her. I have also noticed her symptoms becoming increasing more severe, though she doesn't seem to notice. She went in today to find the levels were up even more and she needs to up her meds AGAIN... she spoke to the doctor about the diet and of course the dr. was completely negative. Now my friend is scared... my thoughts are this, losing and resetting her metabolism will likely get her off the meds and she can't not do this but I have no medical proof to base this on and don't want to get her sicker. Can anyone weigh in? Any thoughts? Thanks!

Don't change your screen name... it's true! You do have a pretty face but the old adage is now unfounded on you! Congrats on the pound!

Hooray for you! It's so important that we really SEE our new selves! I still have trouble with this some days so I've started measuring myself when I feel down. That helps!

Thanks for the bacon info... I have been searching!

Freddie and 4luvs.......thanks to both of you for the recipe websites. I am gathering all of them so that I can so I can expand my horizons a bit now that I am finished. I was too afraid to try recipes when I was still trying to lose.

Sea salt comes from many areas of the world, so there are many names for it....Celtic, Himalayan, etc. They are all equally healthy and all better than Morton's type salt. There is probably a slight difference in the minerals when comparing one to another, simply because they come from the sea and earth and there would be differences in the geographical origins. You can't go wrong with any of them, and they can be substituted in recipes. Kosher salt is ok to sub in for sea salt, too. They all have similar or less sodium, and all have the minerals that processed salt no longer has. Morton's salt has had all of the good stuff stripped from it and just gives you the sodium and iodine. Sea salt simply has more health benefits, but we should still be cautious about how much we use. Spoken by an expert from Bloatyville.

I am enjoying P4. I can eat some types of rice, not others. Sugar and saltines are still a go. I ate a lot of taco salad over the weekend, my P3 friendly one, so I actually lost just over a pound as of this morning. Puts me in the 127 range. Not trying to lose. That salad always likes me. I am sure I will float up and down all week, because I am not going to use my food microscope so much. I am just going to eat, using some logic, and see what happens. I feel stable under 130 for sure now, and that's good. If I can go up and down a few ounces at a time, eating what used to be no-no foods one day, and P3 the next, I will be one happy camper. Deep breath and big girl pants on. Diving into the deep end.

Everyone keep doing what you are doing. Some days don't look so great on the scale, and especially on Mondays for many of us. That one day doesn't write your hhcg story. You have had plenty of good weigh ins in the past, and many more in your future. Try to keep an eye on the big picture and your overall stats and accomplishments. We are a very successful group on this forum! Go team!
