    MrsStrong...
I take my hat off to you.... but as I always say P2 is magical I normally have a lot of energy but during P2 I feel like a duracell bunny ...
PS...In a previous lifetime (when I was young) I qualified as a registered Nurse and midwife and some babies just take their own sweet time!

You have been a busy girl with all the thanksgiving prep.... and by tomorrow night you can put your feet up and let hubby do the dishes!

Oh, cool, Yvonne! Been doing this for well over a decade and still love it. Still have the energy too!

And yes, totally plan on resting my feet up when I can but I can't plan that, ha! Need to do it when I can. Another client due next week so any day. Luckily the rest of my life is pretty mellow right now and I have time to relax.

    P3 day 11

    Weight 168.8

If I stick around here I'll be happy!

So yesterday, I actually had 1986 calories! I realized later that I forgot something. So wow. I will see what tomorrow brings but I don't think there is a second day whip on foods that are fine with me. Nice to have that big margin potentially! I ate breakfast at 6am and then a big dinner at 5pm. I am still very keto adapted to not be hungry one bit all day. We shall see!

Thats amazing!! But for me really hard to fathom... but I M trying to add good calories aa much as I can... Im starting to get the hang if it and seeing go-to stuff that will add calories without feeling uncomfortable
I know I dont deserve it but treated myself to whisky tonight... adds calories but it's empty calories unfortunately... also very careful as alcohol not good while i am trying to improve my gutbhealth xx

I know! Hard for me too, honestly! But if I want to eat lots of food, I need to stabilize with lots of food! I think. LOL That was my take away and why I don't want to stabilize at a too-low-for-me caloric amount.

When you have a treat, enjoy the treat is what I say! That is another thing I am doing right now: Really taking in what I am eating and being conscious. Another downfall for me with snacking and grabbing whatever was around (mostly nuts, cheese, and salami) was that I wasn't not registering what I was eating. I am getting a little annoyed after almost two weeks of cooking/prepping everything and want to just grab and munch but not going there! Staying the course!

    MrsS...
I have rule about snacks... unless it is a to-go snack that is packed in a lunch/cooler box, all snacks must be prepared ON A PLATE... fruit cut up and prepared... nuts measured/weighed and I take time out , sit down and eat/enjoy my snack... no on the fly eating of a bit of this and a bit of that....

For me snack time is just a part of my lifestyle to remind me to stop for a minute and have a small meal... otherwise its just more convenient for me not to eat anything at all and that is the habit i need to get out of

It is a standing joke between me and friends... an all-u-can-eat buffet special is wasted on me because I eat less than a fussy four year old... there is hardly ever a restaurant visit than I will not take a ‘doggy bag’ for me to have the next day
Thanks to my health history... i have not had a drive-thru/fast food take away since 2004....i may have a pizza once a year
for a friday night with a friend... My one soft spot would me sushi and knowing that my body dont like carbs ... i may-do that about once every 3 months at most....

Wether it is diet brain or just a lifestyle thing....i can not tell you when last i cooked rice, pasta maybe 4 times a year and then mostly an alfredo at my local italian restaurant... my big carb sin is potatoes...in any way shape or form and I need to in going forward... make that a treat meal and not a go to filler....

We live in such a fast paced world that almost any convenient meal is starch laden and thats why I do freezer meals... just a pity that so many vegetables (that I prefer) dont freeze well... but then thanks to our weather we can do salads for About 9 months if the year

    P3 BBQ sauce recipe!

I ended up mixing a couple of recipes so here goes. This makes a little less than a cup because that is all the tomato paste I had left.

    2 T Tomato puree
    1/3 water
1 1/2 T Swerve (could probably even do 1T for my taste)
    1/2 tsp of allspice
    1/4 tsp of nutmeg
    1/2 tsp dry mustard
Couple of dashes of rice vinegar (or ACV but I was out)
    Dash of garlic powder
    Dash of onion powder
Couple of dashes of smoked paprika
    1/2 tsp liquid smoke
    1/2 tsp salt
    1/4-1/2 tsp pepper

I warmed it all up so the Swerve would melt and the ingredients would mix better. This is probably enough for one rack of ribs. Well, I hope so anyway

    P3 Day 12

    Weight 168.2.

Pretty stable the last few days! Calories were under 1500 again though so had some chocolate sauce made with heavy cream over some strawberries for dessert.Joys!!
I figured out that checking right after dinner where I am at makes it so that I don’t have to wait and see if I get hungry at 10pm. Duh.
With an apple a day I get to about 40 grams of carbs so that is great. With some added cheese, I get to 1500 or more easily (didn’t have any yesterday) so that is also good to know. And there is always (whipped) cream!

My friend... 268??? Second day in a row? Get your numbers right girl! Haha

My only problem with loading and upping calories is that especially during the week i eat certain things proteins veg and fruits I think thats why its harder for me to eat out of my comfort zone... not from a diet perspective but thats what i like to eat.... butt i am trying out MissMs cheesecake tonight for two friends after work tomorrow and then for our Sunday morning tea

MissM i only had dark cocao powder in the house so the base taste seriously of dark chocolate
    Will keep you posted

Great! Still in bed! Almost 11 LOL

I only have the veggies to do for dinner. Rest is done, except for hubby's part of throwing the ribs on the BBQ! Planning to eat around 5.
