I also do green cabbage and apple with turmeric, garlic, ACV, and sometimes brown mustard seeds and cumin seeds. Also very nice. But I'm of European peasant stock and eating cabbage for every meal is in my DNA.
European peasant stock too! If nothing else there is sour kraut!
I make cucumber salad with some rice vinegar and stone ground mustard. So good!

    You two make me laugh...
Planning your first P3 Meal!!.... then it for me thinking
I was originally going to have my first P3 meal on a Saturday... but stealing that extra day now makes my first meal on the Sunday morning...and we usually walk the dogs at about 7 or 7:30 depending on the heat

So my meal would probably be - breakfast of course... Fried egg with Bacon and a big black mushoom with cream cheese.....
But I may just have to be OK with a protein-rich smoothie, because the meal might be a bit heavy for me that time of the morning...
Ordered some Moringa Powder and Think I should even use it for the rest of this week as it's one benefit is to relieve Edema.... order arriving today

Such a good week! I was a little hungry last night though so that was strange. Will see what this evening brings.

Nothing else much else to record. Working out yesterday was great. Still feeling strong!

Oh, yes! Sauerkraut with every meal--and my friends joke that if it's pickled, I'll eat it.

    MissM and MrsStrong...
if you girls like pickles you may like my home preserved Piccalilli
It is a mixture of brined vegetables in a sweet and sourish sauce... so easy to convert to a sugar substitute recipe
If you are into preserves i can let you have the recipe.... no fancy slaving over a hor stove

basically it is mixed vegetables (harder veg that will not go limp) like cauliflower carrots beans etc soaked in a brine overnight
you rinse and fill sterilized bottles
Then you make a mustard sauce and pour hot sauce over veg... seal bottle and leave for a few weeks to absorb the spices in the sauce

    Tiny drop

The elections have me pretty restless but was able to resist wine, cookies, ice cream, you name it. Wasn't that hard and I am glad because what is worse than not knowing an outcome yet? Not knowing and having overeaten and drunk wine. So, I won!
