Since we are snowed in, might run around the house and stairs for a bit! LOL Made a Jay Robb chocolate protein shake with water, tad of milk, ice cacao nibs and its yummy but its making be very cold
I assume you avoid fruits as well? i think I'm going to do this tomorrow!

Good morning all! Congratulations to all on their losses- really inspiring.

Apple day wasn't so bad, especially because I wasn't hungry anyways. Kind of eye opening that I'm normally hungry around meal times but wasn't when I knew there was no food involved. Guess I just like eating I even picked up some cupcakes fir my SO and bff and wasn't really tempted. That's a victory for me...

The scale said -1 lb today. Would have liked more but am happy with this result. Have no idea what to eat this week, so I will be checking out Beth's infamous recipes. Also, will not be apples for a while. Blech!

Someone mentioned honey crisp apples... I just read there are 118 calories in the large ones, and sometimes I have two a day! They are my favorite (always have been) but maybe they are the culprit of the stall? I will see.... Thanks whoever mentioned those!

    VLCD Day1

    Hello to everyone,
I have been reading your posts for about 1 month and feel like I already know all of you.. I debated, back and forth, back and forth, if I wanted to tackle this lifestyle change, and here I am.

The two load days were very difficult for me, it seemed very counter intuitive, and I felt very guilty. I had a Big Mac on Saturday night and felt ill, so I tried to stick to peanut butters and avocados yesterday.

I have been pretty hungry this morning, and I have already eaten my apple, my protein, and my melba toast and it is only 10:30AM.. I am hoping my veggies help me make it through the day.

My schedule is a bit different than most, I am up at 5:15 and out the door by 6:15, and usually in bed by 9ish, so I think it is okay for me to adjust my meal times.

Now, I have to try and figure out how to load a photo, and that thing that tracks your weight loss.

    Christi

    Opps!

Question: Do you all like certain drops over others? I think I might extend P2 another week, so I will need more drops. Trying to figue out if there is better than others.

    TIA!!!

Welcome, you will do great. At the top of the screen click settings, the tracker is added in your signature area. You also upload photo's under settings as well. Good luck!!!
    Leslie

Total loss on HCG as of 10/26/10 - 41.8 lbs. I think I've gained half of this back didn't keep track and so not 100% certain. Back again and ready to make my accomplishments stick this year, even if it takes me awhile to get there!

Abinco – my kids love snow days too – we get a lot of them in my area

JoAnn – I like when you write the rest of the family can fend for themselves – yesterday I was about to get up and make something sweet for hubby and kids after lunch as they like a little “desert” but then I said “if you want something sweet make it yourself” – nicely of course …. What is rotel?

Lola lulu - .8 – horray – almost an entire pound – can’t the dog poo just stay frozen until spring and then you could mix it up with new soil and use it as a really good fertilizer for the grass???? Wouldn’t want to fall in that though – yuk – reason number 899 why I don’t have a dog

Leslie – I have been taking 250 mg of magnesium supplements for 1.5 weeks thinking it would be a more gradual, regular thing but it is not working – I like the Epsom salt thing but (TMI here warning) – nothing solid comes out – it is all liquid – a lot of liquid – but there must be solid waste there somewhere ….. and then I have the liquid waste for 2 days not allowing a normal solid … (sorry to anyone I have offended with TMI) – I am resigned to think that this is just how it is for P2, which really, is only 30 days, so in P3 I can take flax seed oil which really helps me and is healthy

Cgrad – what temp do you cook the spinach on and for how long?

Missyhoney – my hubby is an apple farmer and the honey crisp are so good – right now I am eating Fugi apples – they are really tasty this time of year too - not sure what the calorie count on them is though

Christie – welcome – this is a great program – the hunger goes away after day 3 or 4 … the first week is the hardest – you can do it!

AFM - just ate my lunch -- now will drink a bit of water and then have my drops

QUESTION: I use to take my drops 30 min before my meals, but find that by the time I think about it, it is time to eat and I am hungry so I eat first, drink some water and then take my drops .... any advice on this - when do you all take your drops - before or after meals and is there a difference in how they work?

    start load: 218.9
end load / day one: 222.4
    day 2: 219.9
    day 3: 217.2
    day 4: 215.4
    day 5: 215.0
day 6; forgot to weigh before breakfast

Yes I agree, the epsom salt fix gets you really going for a few days! I will have to try flax oil in ph3 as well!

As for the drops, I am the same way you are but thought it doesn't matter as long as you take them and allow the time before/after eating or drinking? I would love to also hear feedback on this.

I had MUCH better luck with HealthyHCG drops than I did with the $12 ones from Amazon that some here like. I was hungry all the time on those. Not so on the HealthyHCG ones. HTH!
