    Hey Everyone- down 2.2 from the 1st day of Fruit Flush- today is fruit every 2 hours, no protein slime until after my dinner salad! Not bad considering I did have coffee with 1/2 & 1/2.
    I did a bunch of research last night on the grains that are good for me according to the Blood Type diet, I decided to try sprouting Essene, and Amaranth and baking it a low temp in the oven. Even the sprouted wheat is ok, just the flour is not. But i bet the fresh milled flour would be fine. I do like the idea that all this type of bread is is sprouted grains, put in a food processor and baked, nothing else! I'm going to order the grains if my local health food store doesn't have them and keep you guys posted!

    OK. This round officially SUCKS!

    I'd appreciate any of you vets offering some input!

    The story:
    Lost total of 28 lbs in 60 days on R1P2 (mostly in the first 30), stabilized very well, so after 2 weeks went back to P2. Loaded for 2 days on mainly P3 foods.

    VLCD 1: Blew it with wine, so I figured I lost a day or so.
    VLCD 2: + 0.2
    VLCD 3: -1.2
    VLCD 4: -1.2
    VLCD 5: -0.4
    VLCD 6: 0.0
    VLCD 7: +1.0

    So my first week of R2P2 = -1.6

    If that is the first week, what will the 2nd week be like!!??

    Already hubby has bailed on this phase and gone back to P3 which he liked better (of course!).


    Another thing I just don't understand is my weight this morning went up 30 minutes later (0.4) without me eating, drinking, or peeing! The scale is only a couple of months old.

    Staying with it today!
    Just read Weight Loss Apocalypse which gave me new resolve.
    Currently getting back to the ticker weight.

    You might have gone back into P2 too soon. 60 days is a long round. Your body probably needed a longer break. Just a thought..

    OR.... The wine slowed you down.. and what did you eat the day that gave you the 1 lb gain? Might be sensitive or eat too little or too much!

    MereLeu - nice drop!!!

    Moonunit - you had a great loss as well, are you doing this to get back to LDW or just something you are trying out? Are you above or below LDW?

    itsybitsy - after doing a 60 day round I don't think you took a long enough break from P2, just my opinion.

    Total loss on HCG as of 10/26/10 - 41.8 lbs. I think I've gained half of this back didn't keep track and so not 100% certain. Back again and ready to make my accomplishments stick this year, even if it takes me awhile to get there!

    I did a 40 day round then took a week interruption, tried to finish and just couldn't do it. Take a break, don't stress, enjoy P3 for a bit then try again!

    Yesterday I ate tilapia, ground beef, cucumber, cooked spinach, 1/2 cup berries, baked apple with cinnamon & xylitol. I drank water, coffee with truvia & Cremora, and yerba mate. I've never had a problem with any of these before.
    Just read Weight Loss Apocalypse which gave me new resolve.
    Currently getting back to the ticker weight.

    That looks good! I really think that you didnt give your body enough of a break and now its fighting with you!!

    I hate to admit it, but I'm starting to think you are all correct. I really wanted to be done with this weight this summer. I even tried a couple of correction days on P3 (just b/c I read where someone else lost 10 extra pounds with them) to no avail. Like I said, I stabilized really well-- never more than 2 lbs up or down.

    I guess that this current weight is a stubborn setpoint that I must have been at for a long time several years ago, which is too high for this height and frame. The muffin top and belly need to shrink.

    Tomorrow is another day.

    At some point you will get past the hump, just keep moving forward...I have seen people do way longer rounds than 60 days. As long as you have the mindset to keep it up then I would keep going at this point. Just know the closer you get to goal the harder it is. It took my 60 days to lose the last 10 lbs!

    I'm here!! Been super busy with relatives in town so haven't had a chance to read/reply at all. BACK on the correction wagon I go!!

    Here I am on P4D25 - and I'm 6 lbs above LDW. Doing a steak day today to correct part of the damage.
    It's been a crazy 3 weeks (which I knew it was going to be) and I didn't get my correction or steak days in there like I should have.
    If I don't get my weight back down in the next 2 weeks, I'm going to do another round - just need to look at the calendar and schedules to decide if I do that in Aug or Sept. Right now I'm leaning toward Aug for my clean up round!

    FOOD **** AHEAD - I've pretty much been eating bad things for the past 5 days. Wine...lasagna...coldstone ice cream cake... For example - yesterday I had chicken strips at the ball game along with 2 large scoops of cookie dough ice cream. Had a piece of cake for mid afternoon snack (the cake is now all gone thank goodness!). Dinner was some salami/cheese, followed by 2 pieces of Happy Joe's pizza, 1 large scoop ice cream with strawberries, hot fudge, caramel and choc covered peanuts - and all of that combine with a breakfast and am snack of some fage, berries and a jay rob shake - netted a gain of only .3




    R1 (40 day) p2, lost 24 pounds, 21 inches!! avg loss .55 per day
    R2 (38 day) p2, lost 21.6 pounds, 13.5 inches! avg loss .56 per day
    R3 (31 day) p2, lost 18.8 pounds, 8.5 inches! avg loss .61 per day
    R4 lost 26.3
    5'2" medium frame
