Thread: Homeopathic HCG Lounge - July 2011

    My I've been chatty this morning. Anyway, my day yesterday was very weird. Did my normal 1/2 grapefruit around 10 am. Went out to work in the yard, mostly weeding and taking care of the veggie garden. It wasn't too hot or humid. About 11:30 I got really hungry, and nausous. Wanted to work more in the garden, and eat lunch later, so went in, had ~50g of chicken and 5 rice crackers (gluten problems) snack. Felt better in about an hour, but decided to stay in and eat lunch before going back out. Did that, and went back out about 2 and worked another couple of hours no problem. Regular dinner, but because of the snacks I was a little over 500 cal. Then decided to do an espsom bath. Not good, at least for me. I soaked about 30 minutes. By the time I got out I could barely take my cool down shower. I was weak, dizzy (a little), and nausous. Did the shower and laid down. Heart beat high - not racing, dangerous like -but high. Was fine after about an hour. Good news: I'm down 1.2# today, but I'm not sure it was worth it.
    My drops say 5-7 drops 4 times a day (oh by the way, forgot to take my drops after the bath, and woke up to pee at 3:00 am and took them!). I've been very consist and not hungry on 6 drops pretty much the whole round.
    Thoughts? Dosage? Not a good thing in P2? Just not for me? Thanks everybody. Oh - I feel just fine this morning.

    I forgot to tell everyone!!! My evil rice crispy treats commercials have disappeared, now I have almond butter and summer dress commercials to look at. Woo hoo!!!

    Total loss on HCG as of 10/26/10 - 41.8 lbs. I think I've gained half of this back didn't keep track and so not 100% certain. Back again and ready to make my accomplishments stick this year, even if it takes me awhile to get there!

    Things seem to be going better today - probably because I haven't talked to any of my kids today yet!

    Interesting posts on height/weight/pant size variations!! Just remember we are ALL individuals. I do find it so weird though that people close to the same height/weight would vary SO much in cloth sizes? Maybe we should revolt and go to more of a measurement in inches system like mens clothes are???

    My mind today is going back and forth between YES....NO....MAYBE....repeat
    My dilema is do I start another round Aug 1 or not? If I do another round, this will be the best time to do it looking at the calendar for the rest of the year. I would need to take a 1 day break Aug 20 and 26 and would like to be back to p3 for Labor Day weekend (which could be a short interruption if need be and the weight isn't coming off as quickly as prior rounds).
    According to many web sites, being 5'2" I need to be under 136 to be in the normal bmi catagory. This mornings weight was 135.1 and my shorts I'm wearing are a size 4 dockers from Kohls that fit fine. I'd like to have more of a cushion than that but I've been stable at that weight now for a couple weeks. My lowest weight at the end of last round was 127 something, initial ldw was 130.0, adjusted ldw was 132.0 because I moved too quickly to add calories, food, and didn't do a steak day like I should have. I'm hearing the "you aren't going to loose any more are you??" all the time now. I would just feel better around 125 to 127ish as an ldw.
    Running out of time to make my mind up - think I'll try on some of those new pants I got when I get home from work today and see how they fit to help me make up my mind.
    I'd rather do a clean up and final round now and stabilize nicely vs have to do another round next year.

    YOUR THOUGHTS????

    It's typical for the bath to make you feel weak, my friend couldn't hardly make it to her bed after her 1st one. Just know that it's drawing all the stuff out of your body, which is the goal.

    for those of you wondering what someone can eat in p4 and not gain....read on! For those of you avoiding food lists FOOD **** AHEAD!!
    My menus for the past several days have been fairly consistent.
    Breakfast has been 2 (3 if they are small) scrambled eggs w/a small bit of cheese, a flax seed muffin with butter/jelly
    AM snack - either a handful of nuts or 2 cheese sticks
    Lunch - something along the lines of a 4-5oz chicken breast on top of mixed greens/shredded cheese/ ranch dressing with fage/blueberries; or a 1/3 lb burger on a flat bread wrap, raw veggies
    PM snack - either a handfull of nuts, or small amount of fff with some fruit
    Dinner - 5 or 6 oz of protein (chicken, beef, steak, pork chop, fish), fresh veggies and fruit. And somewhere in there has been a handful or two of M&M's each day. My weight has not varied more than 1lb.

    I should consider myself lucky - I can have an open bag of oreos on the counter for weeks and I won't even eat ONE. I just really don't like them that much!
    I would imagine that is because I never had them as a child. Mom always had a big garden and made everything from scratch. Didn't put all that weight on until I started eating all the processed junk!

    If you feel like your other stress factors allow you to do a "clean up" round and do "stick it" like Beth at slightly lower weight, I can understand that and now is the best time- go for it. It would give you a chance to do a really good P3/P4 before the holidays? Either way, you got our support. I am trying an experiment of trying to keep carbs low and see what happens in the next few weeks and see if I can drop that way without doing drops before the next round.

    Bev, my question would be: Will your head be in the game if you start now? You have a lot going on. Will another round right now just add more stress? If you look good, feel good, waiting might be better. If you are determined to get those last few pounds off now - then waiting will probably frustrate you. I know, not an answer, only you can do that, just a couple things to think about. Where is the most important place to put your energy right now?

    Some good points and I've also been thinking about those things! I just don't know. This morning I was ready for the strict "no thinking" p2 menu. One less thing to have to actually "think" about.
    I've also been thinking about just trying paleo style eating and exercise to see if I can get those 10 lbs off that way. Guess I need to make my mind up soon one way or the other!!

    I would try 10 if after 20 min or so you are feeling hungry, add more. Good luck!
