Hello everyone! I have missed all of my VBFF's. Back from another camping weekend - and this time I remembered to take my scale! Several new faces on here so welcome aboard!!!

    A few persies:
BETH - I vote for the eliptical and also - I need to "catch" your cleaning fever! If I don't have a job in Oct, this house is going to get cleaned and organized from top to bottom!!

TINA - sounds like you are gradually getting back down to your before NY weight. Have you been eating p2 foods only? how many calories a day? I think I may need to try something like that soon...

LAUREL - thanks for the message about teen preg. It was a bit rough at first dealing with the in laws. We made the decision NOT to cut them out of our life. They started being a bit more accepting. My FIL finally came around and started talking to me. He passed away 10 yrs ago from cancer and prior to that, he actually said that I was the best thing to ever happen to his son. MIL and I now get along great. We go shopping together, take her on vacation with us at times, try to visit often.

OH - something I wanted to share about MIL!! No way would she be able to do this diet - she goes out to eat several times a week so there isn't any way she could make it thru p2. Anyway - she knows I'm eating "high protein low carb" and that I have protein shakes. I had a single serving Jay Robb protein packet at her house last weekend. She was looking at the packet and wouldn't throw it in the trash - had it clutched in her hand. I think she ended up secretly keeping it and I bet she buys some as she was asking where I bought it!

AFM - Sat am weight was back down w/in range. I did get in a 5 mile bike ride Sat am knowing that Sat would be a higher calorie day. Sat food was going good until the afternoon and dinner. Had too little water and too many adult beverages, dinner was prob too high in calories and was followed by a smore. I've been camping for 6 straight weekends in a row and been going to eat a smore for weeks and never had. I ate one Sat night and prob should have skipped it as it didn't taste that good. So between either the wine coolers, the veggie pizza (cresent roll crust and had cream cheese on it which seems to cause problems for me), the smore, and eating way too late - I was up 2.5 lbs Sun am from what I was on Sat am. Also had too much sun (on the lake) and not enough sleep so was bloated like a sponge. TOM is also very near - which is causing chocolate cravings too. Doing HPD today and planning a fruit day for Monday. Never done a fruit day so will see how that goes. One interesting note - milk chocolate seems to make me gain where dark chocolate doesn't?
Mon, Weds, Thurs are going to be my lower calorie days this week since Tues and Friday have planned activities where they will prob be higher in calories.

I'm confused, i thought the HHcg drops are just as effect vs. the RX. you mean there is less HCG in them?

Is it beneficial to have the amino acids in them?

I'm on R1, P2 VLCD10 and feeling awful this evening. Nauseous and lightheaded. Following the plan to the letter. Went up on my protein servings yesterday and today and cut out the melba toast and a fruit serving hoping to not feel as hungry between meals. Still fighting hunger. Taking 4 pellets, 3x day. Should I reduce them more? Tired of feeling hungry when so many post and research say hungry should be gone for sure by day 10. Help!

Homeopathic HCG drops are not to be confused with hCG sublingual drops. Homeopathic HCG does not have the same amount of HCG as a prescription-strength injection. This is what allows people to sell it without a prescription. Anyone claiming that their product has more than homeopathic HCG must require a prescription to sell it in the U.S. Otherwise they're breaking the law. The sublingual hCG, although not an injection, is another method of administering pharmaceutical hCG in a different way i.e. (under the tongue). Often people confuse homeopathic drops with sublingual hCG, thinking it is the same thing. You are just spending A LOT more money to gain the same results.

Has anyone ever ordered from hcgdiet.com?
Do the homeopathic drops that have even the small amounts of hcg work?

Clearly I would suspect that the RX are better, but the price tag is so high. I am just concerned that the sacrifice in quality will negate the savings.
Take a look at all of the tickers at the bottom of the posts and you will see that hhcg works great. If you feel the Rx are better than you may do better with it b/c you'll have more confidence in that. There have been several on here that have done both and actually had less hunger etc on the hhcg than the Rx. But do the one YOU have confidence in. If you brouse the forum you will see the same probs with ppl using every sort of type of hcg. Some have found that they did better on a certain type of Rx, like the subQ vs IM, or IM vs sublingual or hhcg vs any of those. I highly recommend that first round if you use hhcg using straight hhcg so you have a base point, every once in a while it seems the additives used in like the aminos will trip up ppl w/ hunger or such. But just my opinion. Hope it all goes well for you.

I have been so off plan!!! Now I have to try and get back to where I was before the 4th because I've yet to see that number since then! UGH! TOM should be out of here tomorrow or Tuesday. Tomorrow will be a steak day but I think I will have eggs instead and then I am going to get on a tuna diet for the rest of the week hoping I can get back down!

Total loss on HCG as of 10/26/10 - 41.8 lbs. I think I've gained half of this back didn't keep track and so not 100% certain. Back again and ready to make my accomplishments stick this year, even if it takes me awhile to get there!

Maybe this will allow you to stay in P2 a little longs and get off some additional pounds. Maybe not have to do as many rounds as you had originally planned. Everything happens for a reason, I gotta keep telling myself that.
Yeah, I'm bummed about that, but as you said, there's a reason for everything, and it does give me a chance for a longer P2, which I am going to do. Now I just have to redo my calendar that I had painstakingly planned out for the rest of the year! That will teach me! I guess we really need to be adaptable with this diet! Thanks for the encouraging words!

For those having trouble finding the right BMR, it seems that the weight x 11 is WAY inaccurate...and many of us use the one that Abinco turned us onto, which can be found HERE...For me, it is the most accurate I have found...and of course you have to keep checking it to update your BMR after losing weight! I hope that helps!

I recall you have been having some hunger issues all along. Have you adjusted your dose at all yet? I was a bit nauseous and light headed that many days in for round 1 also. I eliminated the melba toast but kept in both fruits. I also added in 1 bottle of Smart Water per day. That seemed to help with the lightheaded feeling and also some leg cramps I started to get. Try adding in some Smart Water (you can find the Smart Water in most grocery stores in the health food section) as that should help balance out your electrolytes. I would keep both fruits in.
When are you hungry and also what are you eating when? Some people have a fruit for breakfast, the protein/veggie for lunch, a fruit for mid afternoon snack, then protein/veggie for dinner. My last round I seemed to have more hunger late morning so I increased my first dose to 5 pellets, then took the 4 pellets for my 2nd and 3rd doses and my hunger went away.
Please keep letting us know how it's going and we'll all try to help you out!! It will get better!

Thank you. Boy, that sure is different than the weight x 11 thing.
