My doctor originally told me about the protocol. She is a naturopath and carried hhcg from the brand Mountain States Health products. What I'm wondering is if I can switch to the brand she carries now? Or if that will alter what the hcg is trying to do. Any help would be very appreciated!
As long as it contains hcg it will be fine to switch, I use one brand in my purse for when I'm gone from home, I use my old bottle in my purse. So I tend to take some from a different brand almost every round, except my first round.

I wonder about this also, especially for P4. I know that many folks bash splenda, but have not found a link to good solid research that explains why it is so bad for you. I have never had sugar cravings, as my issue was wanting more salty, savory, cheesey, bready, meaty things and the "Clean your plate syndrome"; so I don't fear it causing sugar cravings that will "make" me eat sweets. We had splenda in our tea at the resturant today as I was out of my stash of stevia packets in my purse.

I'm pretty sure sizes have changed. The waistbands in some old shorts I have are so much smaller than what you find now

I just ordered coconut wraps from rawguru.com. They're pricy, but i do awesome with coconut flour in P3, not the oil, but the flour yes.

I am also going to give my beloved Ezekiel sprouted tortillas a try in P3. They are AWESOME!

I know we can have Xylitol- I bought a whole box of single packets last year, but hardly used it. It's sweet.

I was asking because i was @ sweet tomatoes and they had a whipped dessert with splenda. I know splenda is bad for you but i wanted sweet so i had it but tiny amt. 2 helpings of salad with ranch. Oh am i full. I had some chicken from their soup. This has been my only meal today. I might do a lean burger later.

Just a quick check-in... yes, it's been a few days. But, I've been running around (plus power outages due to storms), up early, bed late... not great combinations.

That said, I'm still maintaining around 151 (some days up a little, other days down a little), and enjoying the fresh milled breads (not over doing it, though). I've made apple-cinnamon muffins (YUMMY), blueberry and chocolate chip (for the kids... I did not partake). Ezekiel Bread and Honey-wheat. I have stabilized well with all of those (on top of my regular protein/veggie alotments). My pasta maker is en-route (bought a new Lello on e-bay for $80), and we will be making our own pastas from here on out as well (I have to use a few boxes up with the kids... but dh and I will eat the fresh milled/made, once I'm in P4). My tortilla maker is also on its way. I'm holding out on the grain mill until after we move... but may wind up purchasing a new mixer (the Magic Mill DLX) sooner than I had thought. My Kitchen Aid is burning out...:-(

Despite Round 2 being a short round, I seem to be having a much easier time stabilizing (without any steak days) with the fresh milled breads than in round 1 without them.

My check-up has been scheduled for 7/27 at 1pm (although they won't be able to do bloodwork then...their lab closes or some such nonsense). I really, really want to see my numbers!!! Between the weight loss, the fresh milled bread, and the virtually eliminated processed sugar lifestyle, I am hoping to see the BEST numbers of my life!

I hope everyone is doing well... wish I had a bit more time, but I don't see that happening until Friday!

Congratulations to all of the losers & maintainers... hugs to all of the stallers & gainers. Thank you all for your steadfast support and encouragement!

So are you making your own tortillas using fresh milled wheat or what? I'm fascinated!
