Tweetie---First let me see if I understand what you are saying. Have you been in P2 for only one week, and you want to go until you complete the 2nd week or 14 days? Then do P3 for a week, then cycle back to P2 for 23 days?

If this is not right, disregard what I am about to say and tell me the correct info on that. If this IS what you mean, then I would say it is ok but risky. As you know, I cycle. I have mixed it up and done varying amounts of days in P2 and P3. My third round was 14 days of P2, 7 days of P3, and then I went into my 4th (and maybe last) round of P2. I ended up doing 29 days then, because I was so close to goal weight and I was hanging in there to see if I could lose it all. I got pretty close and have about 6 pounds left. I just got burned out and stopped and went into P3 again, where I am now.

If you want to finish up your second week of P2 and go into P3 for a week, go for it. Just know that many of us have done it, and the success rate has been up and down and all around. lol. I actually lost quicker in my 2 wks of P2/ 1 wk of P3 round than any of the others. I do not know why, but that's what happened. Here is what I would suggest you do:

Finish a full 14 days of P2. Then the next 2 days are VLCD's with no drops. Then you can do either 5 or 7 days of P3. A veteran cycler said that she counted her VLCD's as part of her week of P3 and finished the remaining days out for a 7 day P3. For hhcg users, that would mean 2 days of VLCD's with no drops and 5 days of P3 meals. If you want to do 2 VLCD's with no drops, and then a full 7 days of P3, that's fine, too. On the 7th night, have a large P3 dinner with no cheats of sugar or starches. The next day you will start your drops again and count this as your first day of P2. If you are cycling like this, and have only been off of the drops for 5 days, don't mess up your system by loading with a lot of crap, or even simple sugar or starches. This is not like the traditional load at all. You want your body to go into this next P2 in a good calorie and fat burning form. If you load with junk, sugar or starches after such a short round, it is likely to cause you trouble. You will crave things you don't need. And don't worry, you won't be extra hungry from not over-loading. I was less hungry by loading with a high protein and fat meal than I was after loading on carbs and my fave junk foods in earlier rounds. At this point, your body doesn't recognize that stuff anymore and it will yell at you if you try to feed it crap anymore. Just keep on the clean living train and don't go back to that old bad stuff.

Read thru this and see if it makes sense to you. Ask me more questions if you need to. I will stick around for a little longer, then need to get going.

And remember, don't do anything that ANYONE tells you that doesn't make sense to you. If this doesn't sound like you thought it would, reconsider and maybe go another direction.

Since you asked, I am answering, but I would not have told you to do it if you had not asked. It is rogue, radical, and truly c
tweetie, Is this a previous set point that you were at in the past for very long? That could be it? Have you measured? I'm sorry you're having such trouble. I applaud you for your patience and determination.

So last night I cheated a bit. I tried to get out of the deal because eating at a restaurant sounds "out of control" for me right now but my husband and I had to celebrate a wedding with another couple. We went to a mexican restaurant (my favorite food) and I ordered the fajitas, chicken, no oil or butter and onion and wrapped them in a lettuce bib. I did not eat one chip or tortilla and that'a a freakin' miracle1 The their wedding cake was presented. I wanted the whole piece but only had one small bite. This morning I am up a POUND!!! Will I continue to add over the next days? Should I have an apple day? Steak day? I just hated to see the pound gain. Any advise would be great.
You are just retaining water either from the carbs in the cake or the sodium or somthing the meat was marinated in, or both. You lose it quickly, make sure you drink plenty of water today.

    R2P3 Day 6 - 122.6 lbs (+.6)
britt---With that list of possibles, I would say you have been pretty successful with the +.6. I am glad you are going to take it easy today. Try to pamper and relax. That rash sounds icky and uncomfortable. I am anxious to hear how you are doing tomorrow. I have a feeling you will be good with the bread. If you did this well with pasta, the rash and probably water retention, I doubt if it is the problem. That would be great news, right?

OH! Ebb, I use whey protein, not egg white. Nothing against egg white, but I have used soy and whey protein for years, and I doubt if I should use the soy type until someday in P4, so I am sticking with what I know works for me. I have never tried the egg white, but I probably will someday. I am slow to try new things when I am stabilizing well.

Ebb, congrats! Those milestones are so motivating to everyone. Your doing superb!

OK food talk, I apologize in advance. Um I totally cheated yesterday. Yesterday I was exactly at 2 lbs over LDW, for no reason. Yesterday I had a mug cake for breakfast, nothing for lunch and then my kids were gone for the day and I went and bought junk food for my husband and I . PFChangs frozen food, frozen poppers (breaded of course), some buffalo chicken bites and haagen daz. I ate a little bit of the food, drank a coke and ate the whole pint, oh and made some dates w/ marscapone cheese in them and ate quite a few of those and several dried apricots before bed. Felt HORRIBLE!!!! Took a detox bath, drank detox tea, drank 3 liters of water during the day. Took magnesium, and something like a senekot pill (things hadn't moved in a couple of days). Got on the scale, all ready to do a steak day, but instead I lost 1.8 lbs!!!!! What in the world. I can't lose 2 lbs on p2 to save my life, but eat like a glutton and poof. I will not eat like that, it literally makes me sick and achey (hence the detox bath). All I can figure out is that I have not been eating enough on p3 and that is why I have inched up a bit. I may pay for it tomorrow, still so today will be a protein day for me, to make sure I'm on track. This is pure craziness. I went and bought some 4% cottage cheese to mix w/ protein powder (designer protein, made w/ stevia, not great but ok mixed w/ cottage cheese, oh and cheap). I really just feel lousy that I cheated, I hate cheating and I did it fully aware, I mean I went to the grocery store and bought the stuff. Don't worry I'm not beating myself up over it. I just feel that cheats make it hard to not cheat again, especially when they go so well.

    confession done.

Vegg, I ordered the Natural Labs drops this time just to switch it up for next round. I noticed that the directions for eating were different. It was some shakes during the day and a sensible dinner? Can you clarify for me. Should I just follow the vlcd like I did with my Mediral drops?

Pasta SAUCE... No pasta... I'm not THAT bold... The rash isn't too bad... It's not red or anything. It just looks like little tiny clear water blisters like the ones you sometimes get when your skin gets sunburned. I'm surprised it's still here though. Anyway... I was thinking that .6 wasn't so bad with all of that but I wasn't sure if that was me just rationalizing so that I can eat a slice of bread every day. . I guess we'll know better after tomorrow's weight.

Hi all, can't reply to everyone cuz my brain is fuzzy today (wasn't feeling great so called in and went back to bed...didn't get up till 12:30!!!) hence the fuzzy brain.
WHen I first got up I weighted and was up 2 lbs!!!! I had dinner last night w/too much Braggs AA (very very salty), played volleyball yesterday, started TOM today.... so I expected the same or a slight gain. When I got back up after noon, it was only up 1lb so that's the one I'm taking!
    craziness!!

hey Britt- if you're wanting pasta -like food in P3 you can take zucchini and shred it, I just put a big pile on a baking pan and stuck it under the broiler for a few mins to get it warmed up, sometimes I'd put some cheese on it and top w/your pasta sauce (adding veggies to the sauce makes it ever better). so freakin good. just like spaghetti but no pasta!
Was MIA but missed you guys!
Final Goal 125 or so.... (62 lbs loss from start)
