Beth, thank you for the sound advice on moving into P3.
Regarding the cabinets...we have a similar setup and we removed all plants, etc for the very same reason. Have you considered faux painting of some sort to match your design? For example, if you have a tuscan theme, the exposed brick popping through here and there with a few vines is a classy touch.

Dave: Thanks for the encouragement! The thesis is part of an awesome scholarship I have so it's a have-to-do thing...but I know it will be good for my future to have that under my belt...just lots of work :/ But my meeting went really well and my advisor said everything looked good, he also said he admires me for doing everything I have going on, so that was a good compliment! Now I have lots more work to do before the end of November...About going into P3, I would just go ahead and go into it before the trip, instead of doing another PI then only having a few days left of P2 after. Might as well just keep it all P3. Your progress has been awesome, I bet you can get off the rest of your weight in your next round! I agree with itsy too that it would be nice to have the option for carbs at the holidays...I'm making sure I'll be in P4 for a few days before Thanksgiving for that very reason. But ultimately it's up to you and how you feel!
egg question: Don't know who asked and don't feel like looking back lol...but I'm in P2 and I eat eggs. I was told 3 whites and 1 whole egg so that's what I've done and I've been fine with it. I make egg drop soup about every other day because I like it so much, and I'm not always in a meat mood. I also do high intensity workouts a few times a week so when I do that I usually eat 2 hard boiled egg whites right after. Sometimes when I'm on the go for lunch I make hard boiled eggs and eat 3 whites and 1 whole egg, with lettuce or cucumber usually.
New Life: Dang, size 9?! Awesome! The smallest jeans I'm in right now are a 10...but they are getting a little big on me...maybe I need to try on some smaller ones just to see...I haven't worn a single-digit size since high school...maybe even middle school...but I've always had hips so usually that's where I need a bigger size.
Today has been a great day for me! Even going off 3 hours of sleep, I don't feel the crash and burn yet haha. I'm about to make some lunch, then try for a little afternoon power nap! Have a good afternoon everyone!
Edited to add: I think I broke some kind of record earlier...I was walking to class and stopped by a little on-campus cafe and bought a 1-Liter bottle of water. I drank it all in the 5ish minutes the rest of the way to class! That's at least a personal record for me...I felt kind of sick for a few minutes after...so much water all at once...if anyone saw me they would probably think I'm crazy. But had to get my water inlol
Jeff: Yep, best diet ever! Sooooo weird! Maybe your body is just rejecting all that fat...nope don't want it! Haha. I can only hope that will ever happen to me...

I posted a while back when I was getting prepped to start my hCG diet. I loaded Sunday and Monday, gained about 1.4lbs total and yesterday was my first VLCD day. Morning was a bit rough as I felt a bit hungry (I don't think I ate enough during my second loading day). Woke up this morning and lost 3lbs! My boyfriend did great, he lost 5,6!
Today is much easier, although I find it actually difficult to eat. Before I started, I found it unbelievable that some had a hard time finishing a 150-calorie meal but I'm having the same problem. I ate my "lunch" at 3:30pm (I did have my apple at about noon) after going for an hour long walk but I am not feeling hungry. Anyway, I'd much rather not be hungry than the opposite but I don't have much appetite for my meals except for fruits and melba toast (self-admitted sugar addict here).
Today is D1 of weaning off HCG. So what weight do I record? After the 2 off hcg days or before? I wanted to say good luck to everyone still on P2.

BIG Question!!
I'm heading out for Las Vegas in the AM. I won't be able to weigh myself for a couple of days but I'm tracking my foods in myfitnesspal. I'm invited to a couple of things that will be serving Champagne. I haven't drank any wine at all (not a fan). Should i risk a glass of champagne? I checked the calories & carbs and it's pretty much the same as wine if not lower in carbs. Help???

As for R5, just wanting to get back down to where I was before the honeymoon. I felt SUPER comfortable at 119 and even better at 117. I am going to give it one more shot since this last round with the honeymoon I kind of screwed everything up...we shall see!!!

Blamp - I had a Stepsister (my whole step family for that matter) that was full of drama and other sh**. After my mom passed I told her that I was done and I hopped she had a nice life and I never wanted to have anything to do with them again. My life is so much better now! I know you can't do that to a blood relative but it is your life - draw some lines.

AFM ~ I would be here everyday! Down 1.5 back under 180 - I have been very hungry so I took my drops down to 9 drops from 10. I feel better today. (so far) I do feel more in charge of my life. I guess I really needed that mini vacation to Vail. Have a great day everyone!
