    Intermountain pellets

Hello, would love to hear feedback from those of you who have used the Intermountain pellets on dose adjustments. Iíve read in previous threads where I think most had to adjust down. My sweet spot for prescription injections is on the lower end for dosage so Iím thinking I may need to adjust down for the pellets. Iím trying 2 pellets 3x today instead of the normal 3 pellets. TIA

Not on pellets and I am not sure who is here using them, but on drops I need to go down as well during or after week 1. I started out with 10 drops 3x/day and adjusted to 11 drops 2x/day which seems to have been fine.

My last round was IM pellets. I stayed on recommended dosage the entire way, as did my wife. No issues, no problems.

Thank you Strong and Wilson for the feedback. I seem to have settled in at 2 pellets, 3x per day. I feel good and am not experiencing the mild hunger I was experiencing before.

justgitterdone - question for you on the pellets since you mentioned in my IM thread that you also had to adjust your IM dose down. I went down to .45 (100iu) and after a couple good days and a skip day where I felt fine, yesterday and today I am back to low level hunger all day. Iím wondering if I should switch to the hhcg pellets as you did, if that might solve my problem so I can finish this round properly. How far down did you have to go on IM to be comfortable? Did you switch to pellets this time because your injection dose had gotten too low to be effective?

Iím only on dose 16 as of tomorrow so not even enough time to try a PI. I donít understand why this is happening and itís very frustrating. Trying desperately to figure out a solution!

Hi MrsWoody, sorry to hear you are still having problems. I never had to adjust that low with IM, just slightly under the 125iu. I didn’t switch to hhcg because of IM dose issues. I switched because I ran out of prescription hcg and I still haven’t received the overseas hcg I ordered in Feb. Having said all this I don’t know if hhcg would work better for you. Maybe it would. I can say since I’ve gotten my hhcg dose adjusted correctly, I have not experienced any hunger. Personally, I prefer injections for sole reason I don’t have to remember to do them 3x per day and there are no eating/drinking rules when it’s time to inject. Have you tried doing your skip days more frequently? I was doing them every 5th day the second half. I started doing them that way to conserve my hcg, but it actually worked out well for hunger as well. Leez may be able to tell you if she has heard of anyone that was having dose issues on prescription hcg and did better with hhcg. I would definitely think it’s possible! I hope you get it figured out. I know how miserable it is to have hunger.

Thanks so much. I seem to be a very large anomaly in the world of HCG. Totally with you on the convenience of injections, that is the reason I got over my fear of needles lol. I already have to keep track of thyroid meds, I didnít want something else to have to manage multiple times a day - but - if it would work Iíd deal with it for the short term. Iím glad the pellets worked for you. My plan was/is to do skip days more frequently as you mentioned in the other thread, but after I lowered the dose and seemed fine I figured there was no need and just skipped on Sunday as per usual plan. Now I wonít have 4 injections until Thursday so I definitely plan to skip Friday. Maybe I should have done the 5th day and would have been fine. I didnít sleep much on Sunday night so maybe that had something to do with it too. Idk...grasping at straws here because when I lowered last week I was fine and hunger was gone. Now suddenly Iím having issues again. Where is the ďtearing my hair outĒ emoji? Lol. Maybe I will email Grammy to try and get her thoughts on switching to hhcg. My thought was since it seems to be a lower concentration maybe that would work better for me since I seem to be so extra sensitive. I guess will see what today brings. Thanks again, I appreciate you taking the time to respond.

I would encourage you to do just that. Grammy will be able to point you in the right direction. Your situation has me puzzled, as generally once you are on IM dose adjustment issues should be moot.

Thanks Leez. I know, it makes no sense. Too bad Dr. S (or someone like him) isnít around, I would be the perfect case study for outliers on this program.

Leez, I forgot to mention I did have a discussion with Grammy before adjusting my dose down and she confirmed my thought that I should lower and said she has seen this before, but not often and not as much as I seem to require. Again...Iím an anomaly. I wish that was a good thing.

For anyone following this thread, I **think** yesterday may have just been a bad day unrelated to dose. Today, so far, I am back to feeling fine. Yesterday I started to feel the hunger begin about a half hour post-lunch, I am a bit over an hour post-lunch today and so far, so good. Grammy responded and said I could try hhcg - which is pretty much what I expected since no one can guarantee what will work for me, especially given the issues I have experienced even when following everything religiously. So, I wonít really know until I try. I will start skipping once every 5th day and see if that helps. Just hoping to make it through this round of injections and stabilize, then try hhcg for my next round in the fall.
