Kansas, I checked the site but did not find out a source for drops per vegan.
The vegan, vegatarian link thread ?

Bundle, still waiting to here how you are doing on the drops you ordered and are using.
If you ordered the drops from post#196, I looked and they are homeopathic HCG so should work well for you.

Thanks for your 3 cents lol Im still learning and will take all the advice I can get . QUOTE=WaterNai;800025]Hello, Melanie! Glad you're back. I'm sorry you've been having trouble stabilizing.

Since you have asked about your food, I'm going to weigh in with my two cents. Please keep in mind that this is just my opinion and you have to do what's right for you.

Is there some reason you're not eating the egg yolks? Egg yolks are not all bad, and the lecithin in the white helps you digest the yolk. I was also under the impression that you do not need to be concerned with fats on the LR.
It seems to me that you do not have enough vegetables, especially those of the nice dark green variety. You might enjoy it more if you mix it up a bit veggie-wise.
Do you enjoy different cheeses? This could be a great opportunity to try some new ones and sample some of the interesting ones we sometimes feel guilty indulging in (cheeeeeeese). There are some great organic and raw varieties out there from mild to pungent that are less processed than the Laughing Cow cheeses.

Hmm...that might have been three cents...one cent per bullet-point? lol

These special diets we do are difficult when we have family that needs taking care of and getting off to school, etc.. I admire that you are doing things to take care of yourself as well as them. I just had a thought! Would your kids maybe enjoy eating a hearty breakfast with you? It's supposed to be quite a good way to start the day, and if they join you, it might give you a few minutes to actually enjoy your BAB.

Keep us posted on how it goes. I've considered the LR, but I reeeeealllly don't do well going hours and hours between my meals. Maybe it would fix that. I don't know.

Hi Mel. We're close in our most recent phase. I lost count of what day in P4 I am in, but entered it on Thanksgiving Day. Anyway, I hear you about stabilizing this round. I'm in the same boat and have pretty much stabilized at 138-140, and that is from my ldw of 133.4. I also have been researching and pondering and masticating whether or not to try the Leptin Reset. My problem is consuming ANYTHING within 30 minutes upon waking. I have a hard time getting my coffee ready and drunk within 30 minutes. Then, to add to that problem, I was boondoggled how I'd ever get a minimum of 50 g of protein down my gullet within 30 minutes upon waking - ESPECIALLY, if I had to prepare it, and I do not have a microwave, so thinking along those lines is not an option. The only thing I could come up with that I thought I'd be able to eat within an hour of waking was 1/3 lb grass fed burger (28 g protein) mixed with 3 Tbsp Hemp Seed (11 g protein) and 2 fried eggs on top (12 g protein). Or, a variation with the 2 eggs mixed in....like a meatloaf. That's about as far as my mind/stomach connection is allowing me to go for a meal that even as a toddler, I never cared for.

So, in lieu of trying the Leptin Reset for now, I'm going to do a third round and pray that I stabilize as well as I did in R1.

If you need additional protein, Hemp seed is great - 11 g protein per 3 Tbsp - and has a nice, mildly nutty flavor. I make a coconut milk/fruit smoothie for breakfast everyday (that I drink after I get to work....usually around 10 am - LOL!!) and include the hemp seed in it for the protein and it has a nice fat content, too. I also found some hemp protein powder in my co op earlier this week, and the water soluble one has 20g protein with only 4Tbsp http://manitobaharvest.com/product/1...O-70-16oz.html It's the Hemp Pro 70.

P.S. I'm dairy intolerant so far, so that's why the coconut milk smoothie, and no mention of cheeses. I miss dairy, but it's not worth the gut pain nor cold sweats I experience when I indulge.

    I'm rooting for you!!!

All I want to do is SLEEP. Still have a bad case of Fuzzy Brain from all the stuff I’m taking to dry up the drainage that is irritating my throat. Not much of an appetite (as you can imagine, nothing tastes good), but I have cleared cream, avocadoes, eggs, coconut oil, cococrack & macadamia nuts so far – hanging in there with the GO SLOWLY plan no matter what. Really want to do this P3 RIGHT.

Gotta get some work done so I can get home & get to bed early today.
    XOXO

This site is not the be-all and end-all in that department, because the most vocal people about it are not knowledgable about homeopathic drops, yet they go around discrediting reputable companies with good products. For example, I used Deseret Biologicals ha2cg drops and lost on them. I got them from my doctor as they are a professional formula. Des-Bio had the regular homeopathic drops prior to the FDA talking bad about them, but then they reformulated their drops so their drops would comply with what were expected to be the new FDA regs, *but those regulations never came through*. So what they say is that they took the part of the hhcg that works for weight loss and isolated it from other parts that don't do anything. That way the FDA can't say it contains hcg, because desbio formulated something that is just the good parts of the hcg. ANyway, I think they call it amino acids, and it works. There are some companies with fake drops that do not work (I believe the drops in Wal-Mart are all bad but that is just what I heard from people who used those drops on this board). Not sure if that helps any, but if you had good drops that caused rapid fat loss and no hunger, I'd say those are good hcg drops. JMO
Thank you, Lynne! I think there are some bad drops out there....even those that profess to be REAL Rx grade. I also think that there are some "amino only" drops out there that really are formulated well and work well. I agree with you in that science has advanced to a state where competent scientists are able to derive solutions from the prime components that "do the trick" and rename them/re-label them. THAT is one little thing that "some" people on this forum who DO have experience with homeopathy refuse to believe. I do NOT "push" any brand at all. I only tell MY experience with the faux and hHCG drops to-date. Yet, I've been berated for that, even. I blew it off because I'm older now and I know my experiences are valid and I know that the hHCG was more than likely poooh-pooooed for years and years before people marginally accepted it as a "workable" solution. I think the good "aminos only" drops are in the same "witch hunt" mode that homeopathy suffered for many years.....and you're right, there are some rogue drops out there....always will be....including Rx and homeopathic, and newly formulated OTC/aminos......(not "herbal", not "homeopathic"....no designator yet) that are like those Nigerian emails asking for your bank account information. Yet there are many, many that are good and honest and just trying to get a leg up in the business.

Luzer, I love an honest women.

Christy, You did it. Made it to the goal. That is awesome, I am sorry you are not feeling well.

    Deb, Great loss.

    LCO, Welcome

Hcgpro, sorry about the digestive issues, maybe a probiotic could help.

WaterNai, You had good thought on Leptin Reset.

Mel, Bobbi, Katt, Lynne, Lia, Lisa, Kansas, And any one I may have not named, Hang in there,

AFM, I am up again today, I think it is inflamation, My hands and feet are swolen. Dinner last knight had a lot of salt.

I will give my thoughts, if any one is interested, Years ago I was diagnosised with Fibro Myalga (not sure of spelling). I went to see a specialist and he put me on a strict diet.

Breakfast was 2 eggs and 2 sliced bacon or sausage,

Lunch was a salad with protein, chicken, egg, ham, turkey, Use salad dressing that is home made without chemicals.

    Dinner was meat and vegetables,

After dinner snack was berries, Strawberries, Rasberries, Blueberries, Any fruit that had berry at the end of the name.

Some said it was atkins, I had a lot of greif from people, I was allowed half and half in coffee and cheese in the salad. The doctor said Breakfast was limited.
Lunch and Dinner I was to eat until I was full. I could put the berries in a blender and add half and half for a smoothie.

I lost weight doing this, Not just me but others did too, I was to eat like that for ten days and then two days eat whatever I wanted. 10 days on 2 days off. When I added the other stuff, Like the bread, ect, I felt miserable, I had a headache, body, muscles, everything hurt.

I personally cannot do the Leptin Reset diet because of the BAB, I too cannot get that much food in my stomach,
I would cook several slices of bacon or sausage at a time, then ration them in my baggies, I also would HB eggs for the mornings I had to rush out.
Now they have frozen berry popsickles (SF) so the fruit ration could be kept in the freezer.

    I hope that helps someone.

Welcome LCOMTV not sure what you mean...If the Doc is supplying the hcg, expect to lose...if you are doing it on your own, expect possible resistance from your md, but you never know LOL

I had to make smoothies for my BABs...I was incapable of digesting all that food.

As for fake drops, I took them because at the very beginning I didn't know they were not the real deal BUT I lost well and stabilized. Unfortunately my next round was a flop with a 2.4 lb loss and hunger. When I figured out in r1 that they were fake, I kept going since I was doing well and I had no other option, without risking losing money or having them confiscated at the border.

I have no regrets because I lost and stabilized. I'm on hhcg this time and I am finding that I am stalling anyway...everyone reacts differently. IMHO if you have the option to get the real stuff do it. If not, at least keep an eye on hunger and muscle loss.

Goal this round 160: losses include loading day 1 = vcld 1

I did the BAB for awhile. I found that a reasonable size steak (like 5 oz) plus 3 extra large eggs would hit the mark. Am I wrong? I don't think that is too much food. Another more appealing option, though, might be a cup of greek yogurt and the steak. . .or the eggs. A cup of greek yogurt is around 26 grams of protein, and you want to get over 50. HTH

Ok so I moved to another dept at my work. And they are doing a "biggest loser" contest - $50 buy in - and whomever loses the highest percentage of body fat wind $1680 and 2nd place wins $420 ... I'm so bumbed I did wait to start til now - but even if I lose 20 more in the next three months I should be good - I might even be able to squeeze another round in ... (I'd love to have another set of first week losses again)

Ok so I'm really on my scale in the morning naked at 190- I weighed (fully clothed in yhe afternoon with shoes, after a big glass of water, lunch, needing to pee, with my pockets loaded and a sweater) at 197.3

Do y'all think I could hit 170 (or even 160) by may 1st?
A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step...
