Kansas-Can you remember if you ate anything different that day your feet were itching?

Tonight we have sea food. Yesterday I ordered pork and it came with breading. I tried scraping but was making a mess. Ate some of it. Having eggs and bacon for breakfast, no bread or toast or pastries. I just want to maintain this weight, I don't want to gain, We return to China on Friday, Then the folling Thursday I return to the US. 11 days to go.
Good luck Trish. You are doing great on your journey. I bet it feels nice to wear sun dresses. I'm hoping to be at that point by this summer (i never wear them or anything sleeveless).

Lovely losers - fearless in february!!

Haven't quite caught up reading... But wanted to thank you guys for the info yes iron/magnesium makes perfect sense as TOM was full swing that day.

I ventured out yesterday afternoon, holy crap there is so much snow! Freezing rain today, and more snow in the forecast this week will make things interesting for sure! I think power wont be an issue (thankfully) we are 3 houses down from the power company's building. It's kind of nice getting a day off here and there.. I don't usually have that luxury. ill catch up later.

Hope everyone else's weather is good, and their losses!(crazy tornados and all in the news) I won't even talk about my loss.. Well the opposite! I was BAD and I'm blaming it all on TOM!! Back on track today hopefully I can undo some damage!! Don't potty me though lol I know what I did! Haha... Paying for it in pounds for sure!!!

Didn't weigh today but I'm sure I'm up from Saturday considering I had 3 pieces of whole wheat bread yesterday - 2 with peanut butter and 1 with butter. Other than that, I had cantaloupe and pizza. Reeeealllll pizza. It was kind of late (around 8 PM). Cheat day though...back on track today. Had my chai tea, milk and a banana so far. I'm feeling very full. The tea always makes me feel full though. Didn't bring lunch because I thought I was leaving early. I'll probably just get a salad from downstairs. No biggie. I'll have enough zucchini lasagne to last the week for lunches at work. I'm not really having money problems per se...but I feel them coming on. I'm sure my tax refund will be spent by the end of the week. BF is having to spend a lot on his car. Mine needs some stuff fixed but I'm not too worried. I'll just slowly get things fixed on it. No need to fix all at once

Kansas: Good luck on the losing! I'm sure you'll get back down.

Trish: Hope you find a scale! I hate not knowing my weight for too long, especially in P2 or P3.

Bundle – thanks for the heads-up on the Kale chips; I’ve had bad luck with zucchini chips & spinach chips, both yukky, but I love the sweet potato “chips”, so I’ll look for the Kale ones. I’m SUCH a chip junkie – would be nice to have something HEALTHY to have with my guacamole.

Collector – good job on the loss!

Lovin – Taco seasoning – I make my own from my FAV Himalayan sea salt, fresh ground pepper, garlic powder, onion powder (or dried onion flakes), chili powder, cumin, cilantro and a little medium-strength “Slap Yo Mama” or Tony Chachere’s Cajun seasoning for that extra “kick” my family likes so much. Adjust each spice to YOUR fav, and voila! You have “taco seasoning” – I NEVER buy the stuff anymore.

Katt – I’ll be 55 this year, so we are very close in age. GREAT JOB on stabilizing for so long – I would love to wear baggy size 8’s – My entire adult life I’ve never been smaller than a 10. I’m pretty sure I’ll be doing at least one more P2 (probably in June) to try & get rid of another 18 or 20 lbs & get to my end goal size 10 (which I’ll be VERY happy with). BTW, always wanted to visit Asheville.

Kansas – I have a LOT of sympathy for you, dear – I know eating vegan is your choice, but I don’t know HOW you do it & stay on this protocol! Post, post, post – you make me laugh all the time.

Trish – hang in there, girl! You WILL make it!

AFM – over the weekend I went from 188.4 to 190.4 (still .6 under LDW) – sure it is due to (1) not enough water on Sunday because I was running all day long (errands/groceries/visiting wedding venues with DD - I really don't remember drinking ANY water all day long!) and (2) I chanced a single glass of red wine with dinner (a P3 veggie frittata) - I know you are all shocked and stunned that I drank red wine and (3) despite my addition of coconut oil to my diet, my “elimination” problem is still with me – maybe because of all the cold meds I’ve had to take the past 7 days?

Anyway, I’m bummed that I couldn’t hang on in the 180’s longer, but not THAT worried about it. I think a week of very clean eating, NO BOOZE and getting my system regular again will at least keep me from going any higher. I haven’t started counting calories yet – I did almost maniacally last fall when I was trying to eat a lot of good fats and struggling to keep my weight from going any higher than 206. Trying to learn to LISTEN to when my body is hungry, eat clean P3 until I’m not hungry (but not stuffed) and see what happens this week.

I haven’t started “real” exercise yet – still walking (Reveille keeps me at a 3.5-4.0 mph pace pretty much the whole time we are out!), a little very light weight lifting & some situps every morning - just trying to tone a little & I have to take any new exercise slowly because of back issues. Will start to do more serious workouts later this week/this weekend – I know protocol suggests you don’t start that too early in P3 if you weren't doing it previously.

    R4, P2 – start date 12/24/12 - Weight after loading - 213
    PHASE 2 – COMPLETED! LDW 191.0
Total pounds lost – 23 pounds
Total Fat inches lost – 20.5 inches

Christy: Have you tried drinking chai tea? I'm somewhat new to it (had it before but now have it every day) but it's worked to get me on the regular side of things. I maybe "went" every other day or sometimes every few days but now I "go" at least once a day, sometimes more. It's the only thing I've changed in my diet so I know it has to be the tea. I got the vanilla chai tea at Meijer (Bigelow brand) and add about a tbsp of honey to it (you can use any other sweetener if you need it). Good luck with everything!

Speaking of the chai tea, I'm actually very surprised at how "regular" I am now. Since I started drinking it last Friday, I've had a good "release" at least once a day (sometimes twice or 3 times). This is so weird for me (and probably TMI haha). I feel soooo much better. Still wanna try a detox bath though. Maybe I'll do one this weekend at mom's.

Pro - thanks, yes I love me some Chai tea - have it quite frequently, but remember - I'm "Dynamite Girl" - My colon laughs in contempt at even all those "smooth move" teas. (How is THAT for a visual, Loser Peeps!) I know I'm NOT getting in the water I should, so that will go up considerably & I plan to double my probiotics.

Ooohhhhh! lol Well, they say water is supposed to help keep you regulated too so hopefully that and the probiotics help I actually need to go get some more water. I'm a little ticked off at some things right now and I'm so tempted to go grab a bag of chips but I just had a salad and I think the water might help with feeling like I need to be eating something.

Bobbi-Yep you're right. Raining all day here too. Let me whine a minute. My DD lives in KC, MO and has chronic pain issues and I just got off a lengthy phone call with her. It is so hard to feel helpless when it comes to your children, no matter how old they are. She has fibromyalgia and interstitial cystitis and no health insurance. sighAnybody know any good docs in KC?
