Just thought I'd share what I learned.
I believe you on that and my water is esp bad me and the cats do not drink it
so, great idea putting baking soda back on list for toms. shopping.
most filtering is just charchole and filters only some chlorine, rite.
we drink reverse osmosis water but have to wash in this other stuff, which is not toxic, just alot of rust and stuff. the plants like it the animals do not.

    Thanks for that research

Well, it was another day with no loss. So I have decided to enter into the next phase if I don't have a significant loss in the morning (at least .5). I'm so very bored with my food choices at this point. The 14th was day 37...I know it's only a few more days but I am just not in the game so to speak anymore. I think I will try the injections for R3 and see if I notice a better loss.

I have to say the drops that I got work quite well for holding of the hunger. I think I can continue using the maintenance drops, they are just for hunger control, no HCG in them.

Katt, Thanks for the info on the detox bath, I will start adding the baking soda. I don't do them as much as I should but will at least shoot for the weekends!

Kansas, I'm sold on your shakes. I think they are awesome as I have had great losses after each time I tried it as a replacement for meat.

Chai Tea is just a tea that has spices added to it (mine is Twillings and it has cinnamon, giner, cardamon, clove). I also got the Yerba Mate version but haven't tried it yet. I like the way the chai tea taste but you have to check the label becasue some of them are different and may add something not P2 friendly. Normally when you drink it you add a little milk or cream but I just drink it plain. However, it does not have the affect on me that it does for hcgpro. Maybe I have the wrong kind but it doesn't seem to keep me regular at all. Hcgpro, what kind do you use??

    Welcome Julz!

No loss for me today but no gain either.

Lovely losers - fearless in february!!

Thanks for the welcome everyone! Just going through my last day today before loading tomorrow. Have a sushi dinner planned tomorrow night, but nothing else planned like I have has for other rounds. I guess I'm just ready to get on track, which is good and will hopefully make this round a little easier. I've never been one of those people that looks forward to P2 regimented eating, so I just try to make it through for the losses.

Will have to try a detox bath this round, have had the Epsom salts but just never did. Once I'm weight bearing without my boot I'll have to, have only been able to shower since its hard to get out of the bath with a broken ankle! Well have a good one, gonna make a coffee and HWC to go and enjoy the last few days of that!!

WELCOME JULZ!!!! Glad you jumped in! Look forward to getting to know you better! Where are you from?

Jennie – stay as close as you can to protocol; I know the food is SO BORING but it is only for a short time. Concentrate on the FAT you are losing every day and start planning your transition foods into P3, when to try what, as well as collecting P3 recipes. Both of those things really helped me get through the last 3 weeks of P2. BTW, has anyone told you that you look like the British Actor Katherine Parkinson? She had her own BBC show “The IT Crowd” which was HILARIOUS (so sorry they only made 5 seasons - you can watch it on Netflix if you have a subscription to that); she was also Doc Martin’s sassy receptionist for a couple of seasons (I adore Doc Martin!!), and made an recent appearance in Sherlock with Benedict Cumberbatch (BEST SHERLOCK EVER). I think she is SO pretty . . . and so are you!
    Katherine Parkinson.jpg

Trish – I used the Bigelow SF decaf Chai Tea in P2 all the time with no issues. I think I already posted the Faux Potato Soup recipe, but I’ll do it again. I can only give you ingredients – you’ll have to figure out the proportions by tasting as you go, because sometimes I use 2 heads of cauliflower; sometimes, when I need some leftover for lunch, I use 3. Family LOVES it so it goes quickly.

Katt – I always add a cup of Baking Soda to my bath salts – I hear it also helps your skin absorb the salts better. I buy Baking Soda in bulk at Costco. I like doing detox baths because they MAKE ME SLOW DOWN; I have to sit in there at least 20-30 minutes, so I get a book, and glass of something refreshing and try to get my mind out of the world & relaxing.

AFM – 189.8 – up .2. Not gonna sweat a .6 change or smaller from this point forward, ‘cause that could be simple water fluctuations (i.e., I did not have more than 24 ozs. of water yesterday – funny how I keep forgetting to drink my 50 ozs of water!). I've been between 189 and 190 for nearly 14 days now (my LDW is 191) - keeping fingers crossed it means THIS TIME I did the P3 transition right. Only Dairy I've added is butter & heavy cream for coffee & soups. One more week of super careful P3 eating.

I plan to do an actualy GYM workout next Sunday and see what happens. I've been walking a lot, doing light weights at home, etc., but haven't done an actual "go to the gym" workout since before Christmas because I wanted to make sure my weight has stabilized. I think protocol calls for 3 weeks of P3 before starting any new kind of heavy exercise. Sunday, February 24 will be 21 days in P3.

    R4, P2 – start date 12/24/12 - Weight after loading - 213
    PHASE 2 – COMPLETED 2/4/13! LDW 191.0
Total pounds lost – 23 pounds
Total Fat inches lost – 20.5 inches

Trish: Chai tea is ok during P2 and all other phases

I'm down another pound today but I'm sure it's from the blood donation yesterday. I had to eat 2 pieces of toast with peanut butter last night and drink a ton of water because I felt a little dizzy. I'm good today though. My arm just hurts a little and it's like I can feel my vein popping out of my arm. Weird!

Had some chicken with broccoli last night. I think I can actually have a little starch each day and still maintain which is good I'm below where I was last Friday so I may "treat" myself a little tomorrow with either Mexican food or some sushi. Then...Sunday is "cheat" day. Not sure what we're having yet but it doesn't matter

Good morning, it has been almost a week since I posted, so I thought I would comment on my journey...last I posted I was going skiing with the kids. I ate an extra egg that day and still had losses. That was Wed. Thurs my daughter and I drove to St Albert (6 hours north of us) to play in a ringette tournment. I was totally prepared, got all my food pre weighd and packaged ect. Then I forgot my protein in the freezer! #@%!! I bought a rotersiary chicken and made do. The team had two restaurant meals, I ordered plain grilled chicken breast, and the next day just a salad. Still came home with losses!! So proud of my self control. Today my family is throwing me a 40th birthday party. I have requested a shrimp ring and a veggie tray (they had suggested Chinese food). Hope my self control will hold out tonight. Yesterday was the 2 week mark for p2 , I am down 17lbs. I love this diet, and this forum. I read you girls every day, just dont always comment. Take care, Deborah

Ok, back in China. I weighed on the scale. It was night and dressed and shoes........ 5#s up at least 145 OH MY GOSH, What The ....................... ?
OK, tomorrow I will weigh naked and 1st thing in the morning, but I just want to cry. So as Kansas Says I'll put my big girl (hiney) pants on, suck it up and move forward.
Friday Night here, I return Thursday night US. You have no idea how much I can't wait.

I can't stop crying. I ate. I made the choices. This is me at an absolute worst moment ever, I just want to go home. I want my life back. I want happy. I want laughing.
And if wishes and butts were candy and nuts everyday would be Christmas.

I guess the tough part for me is that me dynamic greens are part of the protocol I'm following which is based on the dr. S one but has a few differences such as the dynamic greens for a fruit and that there is no real phase 3 or 4. After phase 2 I can take 2 weeks of rest and then start again. When I'm done, then I do what's called a reset phase for 4 weeks and that's it.

And I like looking like Katherine Parkinson, she's pretty

    Round 1 Total: -25.4 lbs / -17 inches / LIW 223.4
