    I did a 3 mile walking video and a 15 min weights for arms! I hate flabby arms. lol
    I was hoping to lose in P4 so I wouldnt have to do another round right away, But I guess thats not working staying stable but cant lose. I will start R3 as soon as I can..
    Question .. Im in R2 and subposed to be in P4 for 4 weeks do you think it would make a big differance if i started R3 a week or two early I never really have ate P4 no grains or pasta Ive been eating P3. I want to do a short round so I can be at least in P3 for the holidays ! Thanks Melanie

    I'll let Bobbie say more about cutting your P3/P4 short & restarting P2, but I wouldn't do it - especially since you have stabilized so great! Don't get frustrated that you are not LOSING because P3/P4 is supposed to be about resetting your system so you can eat NORMALLY (1,500-2,000 calories is supposed to be a normal amount for women) without gaining.

    I think you are doing terrific, Mel, and I know you are VERY anxious to get back on the hcg & get those last few pounds off, but if it was ME, I'd go ahead & stay on schedule to give my body all the stabilizing time it needs. I think ( but don't know for sure) that your next round will be more successful if you stay on course.

    Just my 2 cents.

    BTW, good job on the exercise. I use hand weights 4 times a week to help keep my arms toned. ALL the women in my family have flying squirrel arms, and I've had larger arms all my life. As I get older, they get flabbier, so I use those weights ALL THE TIME to combat it.

    Kelsey, I started gaining back my last P2 losses immediately in P3 and continued into P4. Since late June, I've been trying (emphasis on trying) to follow Mark Sisson's Primal Blueprint for eating. On this plan, you eat very high protein/high fat, extremely low carb, no sugars, no starches, no wheat, no processed foods. You are not supposed to count calories, but actually are supposed to eat as much as you want (primarily meat) until you feel "full" but I guess my appetite is larger than most, because "full" was averaging well over 2,000 calories a day. Even with my active lifestyle & exercise, I was gaining. I started tracking my calories/carbs/% of protein/fat/carbs again because I wanted to know WHY.

    According to several sources (including my Doc's office) a woman over 50 (that's me) should be able to eat around 1400-1600 cals a day if her lifestyle/exercise level is low; 1600-1800, if level is moderate and around 2,000 or more a day if active. Without GAINING WEIGHT.

    "Active" defined as walking at least 3 miles a day, between 3 & 4 MPH. Using that definition, I'm right between Moderate and Active.

    I don't always eat 1700 cals a day - I try to shake it up because I know your body can get used to a certain level of food or exercise, then your stuck at a plateau. Monday was 1124; Tuesday was 1245; Thursday was 1604. I exercise and/or walk nearly every day. My whole point of trying hcg was to be able to eat NORMALLY, which I still cannot do without gaining weight.

    For Thursday:

    Calories 1604/carbs 36.6
    Fat 71%/ Protein 18%/carbs 11%
    Exercise - 50 min (elliptical/walking)

    My weight this morning - 206.2 - UP 1/2 pound.

    Mel...my drops said I could skip p4 if I wasn't at goal weight. I stabilized so incredibly well, that I left p3 after 3 weeks (the minimum in my instructions) moved on to r2p2...gained a lot during loading took a long time to get down 2.4 lbs post load...r2 was a dud...and now I have gained some back...I don't recommend you rush things.

    You could do another round and do a planned interruption for the holidays...just search it on this forum or wait till after the holidays...IMHO, I personally would maintain till after...that way your body gets used to this new set weight, adjusts to carbs and you don't have to be paranoid about every bite.

    Trying g to catch on to all this. Did my first round for a few weeks in July and lost about 10. Took 16 day trip of lifetime to France and my walking balanced out my eating so no huge gain. Started hcg drops again last weekend (9/15). Did vlcd mon-thurs (~800 Cal) and lost 7.5 while feeling great. Fell off today with my birthday lunch and cake. Will jump back on tomorrow. Thanks for being there. Glad I'm not alone in this new adventure of taking care of me.

    Oh My Oh My I am soooooooooooo happy........... I know from all the searching I have been doing on lowering doses that Grammy says to skip a dose and
    see how you feel........................I was so scared to try to do that...
    OH MY OH MY today I did not do my shot due to a extreme change in schedule this morning
    I had to take Significate Other to work at 6 as his truck in the shop
    to get a spray in bedliner installed.
    When I got home I was allready dressed and went about getting a few things done and then got ready for work only when driving to work did I remember I for got
    my shot............. So I said to self this is your skip day ....................AND IT WORKED
    I was not hungry at all I felt sooooooooooo happy.... I have been battling such hunger this past 3 weeks on the HCG Clinic shots
    AS I have posted they recomend 225 I have dropped it down to 175 and I guess from the results of my skip day and having read what Grammy has posted I
    need to take my does down even farther........... I am going to try 150 tomorrow... Maybe even down to 125............
    Is this not crazy that the clinic perscribes so large of a dose......
    I felt full all morning and really stuffed full after eating lunch and very content after eating shrimp and lettuce for Supper
    Oh this is soooooooooooooooo wonderful

    Hi everybody, sorry I havent been around for awhile, but life has been busy and then i spent a fabulous week in San Diego. Bobbi and Christy im really bummed to hear ya'll are having stablizing problems, nothing sucks worse than to gain back what you worked so hard to loose. I hope the 1 meal a day works for you christy. Hows the wine intact going? have you thought of switching to vodka? ive burnt myself out on whipcream flavored vodka and diet gingerale, so now i have a new flavor. grape flavored vodka w/ diet 7up. YUM!!!! I can put that stuff away and not have any gains!! So Ive decided to do R2, started loading today.I want to get that last 15-20 off. Im not excited about this round, I dont want to give up eating primal. MMMM BACON!! But Ive got to get motivated. Ive have done well since ending the first P2, im down a total of 3 lbs from LDW. but i droped 2 lbs overnight and i dont think that would stay off just because dinner last night consisted of the vodka and we also had a bottle of wine!! No im not an alcoholic, just need to blow off steam from a very stressful week. Well gotta go and force myself to eat some more. I really hate the loading phase, it makes me feel sick.
